You won't be coming here merely for a dozen eggs; this 146-acre (60-hectare) market is one of the largest in the world, one where any visit is a serious outing. The abundance of hen house eggs, fresh produce, smokehouse meats and bottled regional specialties make the market memorable. Inexpensive shrubs and plants are also available for the garden lover.
