Dubai International Marine Club was established in 1988 and is now the official water sports authority in the United Arab Emirates. It is also a member of Union Internationale Motonautique, the leading organization of motorized sports in the world. The club comprises of a sailing department, race department, water sports and a marina. DIMC plays host to eight water sports championships every year. The races include wooden powerboat racing, kite surfing, jet-ski racing, traditional dhow sailing, modern sailing and traditional rowing. The marina offers equipped marina berths with electricity, water and a slipway. In addition, you can try sailing, windsurfing, para-sailing, yacht cruises, paddle skis and deep-sea fishing. Rates vary according to the sports.
