Escorpion Tequila Bar & Cantina is a feast for the eyes as well as the mouth. A colorful metal scorpion beckons thirsty travelers into the front door. Seated on soft cowhide bar stools, you eat under the grinning skulls painted on the ceiling. The fare is unique and thoughtful. First, munch on Octopus Ceviche and Quinoa Salad. Then opt for one of the specials, like Braised Goat, Barbacoa Tacos. The main draw, however, is the sheer amount of elaborate tequila concoctions Escorpion offers. Try a Tour of Mexico, which is three different shots of tequila, or opt for one of the more exclusive shots like Don Julio 1942. The kitchen at Escorpion stays open every night until closing.
