Night Scene of Min River

Overlooking the Min River, The Westin Fuzhou Minjiang is conveniently located just six kilometers from Fuzhou's vibrant city center.

A prefecture-level city situated in China’s Fujian Province, this bustling seaport is steeped in history. Known as the "City of Banyans," Fuzhou dates back to the Han Dynasty (circa 200BC) and is home to fascinating Buddhist temples, hillside and mountaintop views, and lush parks. White Pagoda and Black Rock Hill provide picturesque city views; or visit one of the local temples to view ancient architecture.

Nearby areas are rich in scenic attractions such as Drum Mountain (Gushan), just 17 kilometers from the city—a tranquil spot with picturesque views and home to Yongquan Temple. Nearby Fuzhou National Forest Park is one of China’s ten national forest parks. Visitors may also catch a glimpse of one of the world’s most endangered species at Panda World, home to the Giant Pandas.

For dining, shopping, or entertainment, the Wanda Plaza is within walking distance of the hotel, and features a variety of international restaurants and department stores. Guests can also find shops that specialize in famous Fuzhou traditional arts such as lacquer ware, paper umbrellas, or horn combs. Stone sculptures and exquisite cork pictures are also considered unique arts of Fuzhou.
