With Puerto Vallarta’s international airport just five minutes away, The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta is most easily reached by air. A car is not necessary, taxis are easily available, and the downtown is best explored on foot.
From Puerto Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, it’s just a quick 5-minute drive to the resort. The airport receives daily direct flights from many U.S. cities, as well as from Mexico City.

Taxis are the best way to get from the resort to downtown Puerto Vallarta, since parking can be difficult there, and walking is the best way of seeing the town. Resort staff can call you a taxi at any time, and the ride to town is only 15 minutes.
