  • Group Sales Manager, Kristina Djorovic has been at the Westin for almost 3 years and in the industry for 9 years. You will often find her exploring Eagle Creek with her (new!) hubby and adorable fur-baby, Mimi! Here is what Kristina LOVES about Indy! 1. Cultural Districts I love all the different cultural districts in Indy. Mass Avenue is my favorite! There are so many fun and unique restaurants and bars to discover. Living in Fall Creek Place allows me and my husband to walk to multiple local restaurants and to truly appreciate and enjoy city living. 2. What does it mean to be stuck in traffic? Moving from Chicago to Indianapolis was a breath of fresh air. No more long commutes and I almost never get stuck in traffic. If I do, it’s for no more than 5 minutes. I have yet to witness road rage. Most people on the road are considerate and patient. 3. Close to nature Living 15 minutes way from Eagle Creek Park, one of the nation’s largest city parks, means a lot to me. I can just get away from the city for a few hours to enjoy the serenity and the beauty of this park and return home rejuvenated and ready to take on the world! :) 4. Hoosier Hospitality I heard about Hoosier Hospitality before but it was only after I lived here for a few months that I realized what Hoosier Hospitality really is. It’s not just what you experience when you are visiting for a conference or a weekend getaway… It is not forced or “staged”. This is how Indy residents really are! It is truly amazing and it did not take me long to get used to it. Everyone is just so nice! 5. City of Sports I was never really into sports but I got completely sucked into it. You can’t live in Indy and not be a COLTS fan. I don’t even understand football and l love the COLTS. It’s a strange phenomenon… I also attended my first Indy 500 race last year and that was one of the most exhilarating events I’ve ever been to. Go Indy, Go COLTS!
