Located on the third floor of the Main wing, Kacho is a distinctive Japanese dining venue specializing in one of Japan’s favorite comfort foods: the hot pot. Prepared right at the table, our hot pots make for a unique dining experience.
Great for sharing, Yudofu is a Kyoto specialty consisting of tofu cooked in a broth with dried seaweed, locally grown vegetables, and mushrooms. We also offer a variety of individual hot pots, such as Shabu-Shabu or Sukiyaki, featuring Ohmi beef and udon noodles. The Chanko hot pot includes seafood, pork, or chicken with a choice of udon or ramen noodles. Hot pots are served with your choice of sauces including options like tofu soy sauce or yuzu lemon-miso.
Select from a range of set meals that include appetizers plus sashimi, noodles or rice, and dessert. Hot and cold sake varieties from Kyoto and other regions are the perfect complement to any dish. For something unusual, choose from specialty sakes like sweet yuzu lemon sake, and signature cocktails such as the Oolong Hai, with shochu Liquor and Oolong tea.
