Mountain Biking
When the ski and snowboard season is over, Mammoth Mountain becomes a mountain biker’s haven. The bike park is one of California’s largest, offering over 85 miles of single-track trails for riders of all levels. Take the gondola to the summit for expansive Sierra views and a thrilling ride down.

Hiking
Miles and miles of well-maintained trails converge on Mammoth, leading you through pine-tree corridors and mountain lakes, all with enchanting vistas of the Sierra Mountain range. Take a leisurely scenic stroll, enjoy a fun family ramble, or go all-out scaling one of the peaks—there’s a trail for everyone.

Scenic Gondola Ride
For a relaxing way to experience the area’s most spectacular views, ride the gondola to Mammoth Mountain’s 11,053-foot summit. The breathtaking panorama at the top takes in the Minarets, Mono Lake, and 400 miles of Eastern Sierra peaks that average 12,000 feet. If you’re feeling energetic, take one of several hiking trails down—or just cruise back peacefully on the gondola.

Rock Climbing
World-class rock climbing for all levels is available all over the Mammoth region—try them out on your own or with an organized tour. New to climbing? The Adventure Center at the resort village features a 35-foot climbing wall for learning the ropes, plus an exciting zip line.

Fishing
With an abundance of lakes and rivers just outside our door, you can enjoy a guided tour—or solo adventure—to catch some of the region’s many freshwater fish.
