Afternoon Tea

Sipping tea at the resort’s Banyan Veranda was a Waikiki tradition in the early 1900s.

Whale Watching

Humpbacks can be seen from late January until late April. There is a pod of spinner dolphins that make their home in Waikiki. They can often be seen 300 yards in front of the resort. Turtles make an appearance daily on the shores fronting the resort.

Hawaii's Golden Past

Rich in turn-of-the-20th-century history, walking tours of the resort and grounds detail the Moana’s Victorian elegance. A wealth of memorabilia documenting the resort’s colorful history is displayed in the Historical Room.
