We are committed to protecting our environment and preserving precious natural resources, and we strive to minimize our ecological footprint and promote a positive impact. Our constant goal is to reduce, reuse, and recycle whenever possible. Additionally, we've integrated green practices into our daily operations.
In lieu of landfill disposal, our Food & Beverage Eco-Culinary program donates all fruit and vegetable scraps, egg shells, and unused bread to a local farm to be converted into compost. In addition, the hotel is currently developing on-site sustainable and sensory gardens utilizing compost made from our food scraps, to create a full-circle program that reuses our food waste. Finally, we support local vendors and farms as much as possible, and purchase only sustainable seafood as well as all-natural beef, chicken, and pork.
Our Clutter-Free Meetings program helps planners and guests stay organized and productive, with an open room design and socially-conscious amenities. Energy-efficient light bulbs, double-sided meeting pads, and water pitchers in place of bottled water help eliminate waste and reduce consumption.
