Covering a total of 39,000 square feet of space, our 23 meeting spaces offer an expansive and versatile backdrop for every imaginable event. Our largest room, the Grand Ballroom, encompasses 16,424 square feet of uninterrupted space and can accommodate up to 1,100 guests in rounds. A soaring, 18-foot ceiling features contemporary chandeliers, illuminating a palette of cream, brown, and green. If you’d like to begin your event with cocktails or registration tables, step outside to an adjacent foyer bathed in natural light.
The Capitol Ballroom is located on the first floor of the hotel and features the same contemporary design as the Grand Ballroom. With 14-foot ceilings and a calming color palette, guests can enjoy a more intimate but equally sleek setting, complete with a bright foyer area for cocktails or registration tables.
We offer a variety of venues for smaller gatherings, the most impressive of which is our private Boardroom on the third floor of the hotel. With room for up to 22 guests, the Boardroom is outfitted with leather executive chairs and a handsome dark wood conference table. Enjoy stunning views of Capital Commons Park and downtown Indianapolis, plus a 32-inch TV and permanent AV screen for presentations. A separate staff entrance, kitchenette, wet bar, and unisex bathroom leave attendees feeling well cared for.
In addition to our traditional meeting venues, Shula's Steak House offers two private dining rooms for smaller events. The Wine Room, named for the hundreds of bottles of wine lining its walls, can comfortably seat 18. The Perfect Season Room is slightly larger with seating for 32 and also includes audiovisual capabilities.
