Spanning across four floors, the 20 venues at The Westin Washington, D.C. City Center offer inspiring options on many levels.
Our largest venue, the National Ballroom, boasts a generous 6,500 square foot layout, high ceilings, and sophisticated modern décor. This elegant space hosts 400 guests for a seated formal dinner or 500 guests for a theater-style presentation or awards ceremony. For additional flexibility, the ballroom may be divided into five smaller event rooms. Host drinks before dinner or coffee breaks during the day in the airy 2,000-square-foot pre-function foyer.
Monticello—our 3,400 square foot junior ballroom—is located on its own floor and seats up to 200 guests at our signature oval dining tables. The room is divisible into two smaller venues facing east and west respectively. Or choose to take advantage of four smaller meeting spaces on the Upper Mezzanine to host meetings or brainstorming sessions of 15 to 50 guests. Relish the classic D.C. elegance of the wood-paneled Sherwood Room or the modern refinement of the Berkeley Boardroom with its built-in projection screen and contemporary conference table. Both of the Ashlawn Rooms host mid-size meetings of 25 to 75 guests in style and comfort.
For a unique alternative, invite your guests to our Vista Terrace with its open feel and sweeping Atrium Lobby views. Or host a memorable private dinner in our main restaurant 1400 North. The upper and lower decks accommodate 60 guests for a business luncheon or reception, while the restaurant’s exclusive Fireplace Room offers a more elegant setting for 30 dinner guests.
