Chinese New Year Parade Information: March 7, 2015
On Saturday, March 7, San Francisco will host the annual Chinese New Year Parade. Streets around the parade route will be closed to traffic beginning at 4pm and will last for the duration of the parade. As a result, traffic is anticipated and may cause delays for guests arriving at the hotel. For more information on the parade route, please contact the hotel directly. The hotel will accept vehicles at the carriage entrance and will also allow vehicles to leave during the parade.
Weekends last longer at Westin with late checkout on Sunday. Availability may vary.
The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are available.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification).
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid, major credit card (photo identification). There is a limit of $100 per week (stay).
Credit Card Policy
In addition to the credit card requirement for reservations, a valid credit card must be presented at check-in. If a guest wishes to pay cash at check-in or checkout, a credit card must still be provided.
Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of $75 applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at check-in. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Extra Bedding Policy
Some rooms and suites will accommodate 1 rollaway bed and others will not. An extra charge will apply. Please check with hotel directly when requesting a rollaway bed.

Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
One dog per room, of 40 pounds or less, is permitted. No other pets are permitted. The guest must sign a waiver at check-in before a dog is allowed in a guest room or in public areas.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
The hotel does not accept third-party credit card payments on the same day of a guest’s arrival. Payment via a third-party credit card must be submitted at least three days before arrival. A credit card authorization form must be filled out and sent electronically via the Starwood secure eCredit Card Authorization form.
Most suites must be booked through the hotel directly. The Pacific Suite and Bridgeview Suite are bookable online based upon availability. For all other suites please contact our in-house reservations department for assistance.
