Renovations: January 6 - April 23, 2014
From January 6 to April 23, 2014, the lobby, front driveway, restaurant and bar will be undergoing renovations. During this time, the Benchmark Restaurant and Lounge will still be available in a temporary location. Room service will also be available. Work will take place Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room.
Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid, major credit card (photo identification). There is a limit of $100 per day.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are available but not guaranteed. Connecting room requests are granted based on availability at the time of check-in.
Credit Card Authoization Form Policy

Early Departure Policy
Reservations can be altered at check-in. Early departures after confirmation at check-in will be subject to a $75 Early Departure Fee.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaways beds are based on availability at check-in. Fees apply. Per local regulations, only one rollaway bed is allowed per room and rooms with two double beds cannot accommodate rollaway beds.
Gift Certificate Policy

Late Checkout Policy
Late checkout is subject to availability and a $75 late checkout fee. A fee of a full night's room and tax will be charged to guests who depart past 6pm.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
We happily welcome dogs in the hotel. A signed damage waiver is required upon check-in and dogs must be limited to 20 pounds. We request that dogs be on a leash in all public areas and that they are not left unattended in the guest rooms.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and $50 per day will be collected at check in.
The Westin O'Hare didn't discover fresh air, but is proud to offer an entirely smoke-free facility. By eliminating secondhand smoke and keeping pollutants from the air, we help our guests and employees stay healthy and feel their best.
Please note that, in keeping with our Breathe Westin™ initiative, a $250 cleaning fee will be applied to any guest room folio if smoking takes place in a guest room.
