Hot Tub Closure September 15 - December 31, 2014
From September 15 through December 31, 2014, the hotel's hot tub is closed for repairs. The swimming pool will remain open during this time. Please contact the hotel for further information.
Space Needle Fireworks View December 31, 2014
On December 31, 2014, views of the Space Needle fireworks from guest rooms will not be available due to new building construction. Please contact the hotel for further firework viewing information.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
The hotel does not accept checks for payment on the day of arrival. Guests wishing to pay by check must submit the check at least 14 days prior to the day of arrival.
Checks will be cashed only for Starwood Preferred Guests at the Gold level or above.
Connecting Room Policy
The hotel offers connecting rooms upon request and subject to availability. Please note that connecting rooms cannot be confirmed in advance. For special circumstances, please contact the hotel directly.
Extra Bedding Policy
A maximum of one rollaway bed is available in guest rooms with a king-size bed.
To maintain a quiet and sleep-conducive environment, the hotel will issue a warning to an offending guest if there is a noise complaint. If there is a second complaint, everyone but the registered guest will be required to leave the guest room or suite. If there is a third complaint, the registered guest will be evicted from the hotel with no refund.
Food and Beverage Policy
All food and beverages for the purpose of entertaining in a guest room or suite must be provided by the hotel.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
We accept dogs up to 80 pounds and all cats. No pet deposit is required; however, a cleaning fee may be added if necessary. Pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times. No pets may be left unattended in a guest room.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax, and incidentals. If a guest is paying cash, a deposit equal to the room, tax and 75 USD per day will be collected at check-in.
For payments to a third-party credit card, please contact the hotel's accounting department at least 72 hours prior to guest's arrival. Contact Guest Billing, Monday through Friday at (206) 727-5815 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. After-hours, please contact the Manager on Duty.
Purchase Order Acceptance Policy
Purchase Orders are not accepted.
In keeping with our Breathe Westin® initiative, all guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. A 200 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy.
All hotel suites have a maximum fire code capacity. Any gatherings in violation of code will be automatically shut down, and everyone but the registered guest will be asked to leave. Please consult a Catering Sales Manager for information on specific capacities.
Tax Exempt Policy
Please note that the Washington State Dept. of Revenue does not accept the US Government exemption certificates as proof of tax exempt status. Qualified purchases must be paid for using a 1) qualified exempt US Government credit card (GSA SmartPay card), 2) by a check from the US Treasury or 3) payment with valid Office of Foreign Missions Tax Exemption ID card.
