Special Conditions

Starwood Preferred Guest Information

As a villa resort, we are unable to offer select SPG® elite member benefits, including upgrades, Suite Night Awards, 4pm late checkouts, and Your24. In addition, due to limited restaurants, bars, and room service, some elite welcome amenities are not available.

Regarding Free Night Awards:

  • Reservations may be booked only within 365 days of arrival.
  • Inventory may be limited, and blackout dates may apply during special events.
  • Starpoints® acquired through conversion of a vacation ownership interest may not be redeemed for Free Night Awards at a Westin or Sheraton Villa Resort.

Resort Reopens on April 1, 2017

The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa is undergoing a comprehensive restoration process of its guest rooms, public areas, restaurants and bars, and is expected to reopen completely renovated on April 1, 2017. Our priority is to ensure that The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa is restored to its former splendor.

Restrictions on the Acceptance of US Currency

Due to recent local regulations, the acceptance of US Dollars in cash is now restricted across Mexico. Payments with credit/debit cards remain unaffected. Please provide arrangements to settle your accounts and other expenses with a credit card or in Mexican Pesos. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause our guests.

Weekends last longer at Westin with late checkout on Sunday. Availability may vary.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.

Connecting Room Policy

Connecting rooms subject to availability at check in.

Currency Fluctuations

Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

Extra Bedding Policy

A rollaway bed is allowed for a fee.

Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed.

Voucher Acceptance Policy

Vouchers are accepted.

Waitlist Policy

Hotel does offer a waitlist. Guest should contact hotel directly and will be contacted only if a room becomes available.
