Currency Fluctuations

For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.  Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card.  Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.

Restrictions on the Acceptance of US Currency

Due to recent local regulations, the acceptance of US Dollars in cash is now restricted across Mexico. Payments with credit/debit cards remain unaffected. Please provide arrangements to settle your accounts and other expenses with a credit card or in Mexican Pesos. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause our guests.

Resort Closed Until June 2015

The Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos, which was impacted by Hurricane Odile will be undergoing a comprehensive restoration process of its guestrooms, public areas and restaurants and bars, and is expected to reopen on June 1, 2015. Our priority is to ensure that The Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos is restored to its former splendor.

We understand that the new reopening date will affect the travel plans of future guests who have booked accommodations from November 2014 through May 2015. Starwood will assist any guests currently booked at the Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos whom would like to change or cancel their existing reservations, by waiving all associated fees that may incur for arrivals until June 1, 2015.

The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf & Spa Resort, Los Cabos, which is currently open, will honor rates confirmed at the Westin, subject to availability at time of reservation.

Pet Policy

Hotel accepts dogs under 40 pounds. No other pets are permitted and there is a maximum of one dog per guest room. Guest must sign a waiver at check-in before the dog is accepted in the hotel. In addition a cleaning fee of USD$30 per day applies. Breed and weight must be provided during the reservation process.
