Guest Room Renovations: April 17, 2017 - December 2017
From April 17, 2017 to December 2017, 50 guest rooms are being converted into villas in Tower A of the main building.
Resort Renovations: April 17, 2017 - March 2018
From April 17, 2017 to March 2018, the resort is undergoing an expansive, multiphase renovation. Construction areas are fully surrounded by fencing. Work will occur from 9am to 6pm daily. Construction will be moderate during Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Noise should dissipate after December 2017.

Restaurant Renovations: August - December 2017
From August to December 2017, El Palmar and Sea & Stones are being renovated. During this time, the resort’s other dining venues are open.
Pool and Bar Renovations: September 2017 - March 2018
From September 2017 to March 2018, the oceanfront pool, pool deck, and beach bar are being renovated. During this time, the lagoon pool is available.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid identification).
Dogs weighing 40 pounds or less are welcome at The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancun. Owners must sign a liability waiver at check-in, which covers cleaning fees, noise disturbance, and other similar matters. Dogs must be leashed at all times, and are not permitted in the resort restaurants, bars, swimming pool and beach areas, spa, gym, and tennis courts. We reserve the right to restrict pet access to other areas not listed here.

Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.
In order to safeguard the credit/debit card holder, guests must present at check-in the same credit/debit card that is used at the time of the reservation.
