ADA Policy

The resort offers 13 guest rooms that are fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Five of our guest rooms meet all local municipal building code requirements for disability-access, as well as Access Canada's level 2 requirements. Please contact the resort for further information.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years and older, with valid identification.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 18 years or older with valid photo identification to reserve a room or check in.

EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy

Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel.  If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN. 

Connecting Room Policy

The resort has a limited number of connecting rooms. Please request connecting rooms at the time of your reservation to ensure availability. The resort will attempt to fulfill requests based upon availability.

Early Departure Policy

An early departure fee, equal to one night's room and tax, applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date as confirmed at check-in.

Facility Use Policy

Our spa is a non-smoking environment. Guests must be at least 16 years of age. Any guests under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Cellular phone and pager use is prohibited within the spa premises. We request that all valuables are stored in your locker provided for you at the time of your service. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced items.

Gift Certificate Policy

To redeem a gift certificate, please contact the hotel directly.

ID Requirement

All guests checking into the resort are required to show valid, government-issued, photo identification as well as a credit card for payment.

Package Handling Policy

There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.

Pet Policy

We offer a limited selection of pet-friendly guest rooms, and guests are welcome to bring a dog weighing up to 40 pounds. No other pets are permitted. A 100 USD nonrefundable fee for dogs will be collected upon check-in. We are happy to provide a Heavenly® Dog Bed, a pet welcome kit, and food bowls with a mat. Room assignments are subject to floors designated as pet-friendly. Not all room types can accommodate a pet. Pets may not be left unattended in a guest room. Dogs (excluding service dogs) are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets (including the pool area, tennis courts, and golf course).

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Resort Charge Policy

The Resort Service Charge is 25 USD (plus Georgia sales tax) per room, per night, and is subject to change. It provides and bundles the following services and amenities: Self-parking; in-room internet (wired and wireless), toll-free telephone, access to business center facilities; on-resort shuttle transportation, scheduled shuttle service to downtown Savannah; access to The Club at Savannah Harbor amenities including WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, Har-Tru Tennis Facility, putting greens & driving range (including complimentary use of clubs); access to steam room, sauna & Sanctuary at the Heavenly Spa by Westin; beach chairs & umbrellas at our Westin Beach Club at Bloody Point Resort on Daufuskie Island.

Smoking Policy

We are a smoke-free resort. All guest rooms, suites, and public spaces inside the resort buildings are 100% smoke-free. Under the Breathe Westin™ program, registered guests who smoke in a guest room or suite are liable for an additional fee of $250 USD in order that the room can be sufficiently cleaned and readied for the next guest.

Suite Policy

Our Junior, Governor, Presidential, Hospitality and Champions suites are sold through the resort directly. Please direct inquiries to In-House Reservations at (912) 201-2227.

Tax Exempt Policy

Sales to the federal government are exempt from Georgia sales and use tax (state and local) when a government-issued purchase order is used to place the order. A properly completed Certificate of Exemption (form ST-5) is provided to the dealer by the purchaser and payment for the purchase is made by appropriated government funds, i.e. a centrally-billed credit card or government issued check. See O.C.G.A. § 48-8-3(1).

State of Georgia employees and employees of cities and counties located in Georgia must provide a properly completed ST-5 and make payment by way of government issued check, government issued credit card, or p-card. Generally, nonprofit organizations, 501-C-3 or otherwise, are not exempt in Georgia.
