Starwood Preferred Guest Information
As a villa resort, we are unable to offer select SPG® elite member benefits, including upgrades, Suite Night Awards, 4pm late checkouts, and Your24. In addition, due to limited restaurants, bars, and room service, some elite welcome amenities are not available.
Regarding Free Night Awards:
- Reservations may be booked only within 365 days of arrival.
- Inventory may be limited, and blackout dates may apply during special events.
- Starpoints® acquired through conversion of a vacation ownership interest may not be redeemed for Free Night Awards at a Westin or Sheraton Villa Resort.
Poolside Building Renovations: January 8 - December 12, 2016
From January 8 through June 2016, poolside and beachside buildings 14-16 will be under construction. Work will occur seven days a week from 8am to 5pm. The construction area will be fully surrounded by safety fencing and the majority of the work will be interior; however, guests will hear intermittent construction related noises on the pool deck and in the vicinity of the beach, Snorkel's Bar & Grill, and Lemongrass Restaurant & Bar. Renovation will continue through December 12, 2016; however, noise should dissipate once this stage of the project is complete. The resort’s villas will not be impacted during this refurbishment schedule. Please contact the resort for further information.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older to reserve a room.
Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid major credit card, with a limit of 50 USD per day. Starwood Preferred Gold and Platinum Preferred Guests may cash up to 300 USD in checks, per stay. American Express Platinum or Centurion guests may cash 100 USD in checks, per stay.
In the event of a hurricane—as defined by the National Hurricane Center—the resort will replace a guest's room reservation and applicable taxes for the entire duration of their stay. Conditions are as follows:
- The replacement reservation must be taken within one calendar year. Reservations for comparable accommodations will be made on a space available basis.
- Blackout dates do apply (as determined by our sole discretion).
- Any commission owed to travel agents will be paid on the stay interrupted by the hurricane.
- Other expenses including, but not limited to, airfares, food and beverage, or chartered services are not included or covered by this guarantee.
- This guarantee, offered by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, is subject to change at the discretion of the operator at any time without notice.
- Guests holding confirmed and fully deposited reservations (and within the non-refundable deposit window) who are unable to travel to the resort due to a hurricane closing the airport or the resort will be given a full refund.
- This policy is applicable to transient reservations and groups as stipulated in their contracts.

Early Departure Policy
An early departure fee of one night's room and tax applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date confirmed at the time of check-in.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the rate of 5 USD per day. Rollaway beds are limited to one per room and are not available in the Studio Villas or villas with two double beds due to space limitations. For bi-level villas, the beds are placed on the ground floor.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are accepted. Please contact STJon.01098@Westin.com for assistance with gift certificate reservations.
All of our villas are thoroughly cleaned prior to guests’ arrival. If you are staying for seven nights or more we will schedule a complimentary midweek housekeeping service to keep your villa clean and fresh. We are happy to arrange additional housekeeping services upon request.
Owner assessments include housekeeping fees for the first reserved vacation period for each ownership interest. However, please note that a housekeeping fee will be automatically charged to your folio for additional reservations within a single use year associated with a single VOI—based on transaction date, not arrival date.
Guests may travel from St. Thomas Airport to our resort via our private ferry. Our staff will greet you at the airport and transport guests to the waterfront by a taxi ride. There, guests will board the Westin ferry to resort's dock.
Guests who miss their ferry due to airline delays or changes in their travel itineraries will be scheduled on the next available ferry that accommodates their arrival.
Flight information is required in advance, and can be e-mailed to: email@example.com. You will receive your ferry pass when you arrive at the airport.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Pets are not permitted at the resort, with the exception of those covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is to ensure your comfort and safety and to keep your villa clean and inviting.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Resort Charge Policy
Guest will be charged 40 USD daily for a resort charge. This includes toll-free and local phone calls, high-speed wireless Internet access, on-property transportation, self-parking, a variety of fitness activities such as yoga classes, beach/pool umbrellas, pool floats, a variety of water toys including non-motorized watersports equipment (snorkel gear excluded), and tennis court access.
Our resort and beach area are smoke-free in conjunction with Virgin Island Smoke Free Act effective February 2011. A 200 USD charge will be applied to guests who smoke in their guest rooms. Guests are asked to use the designated smoking area located outside the WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio.
It is always recommended that you travel with your passport as it is the easiest document to present anywhere. However, it is not required for US citizens when traveling to the US Virgin Islands. US citizens traveling to the US Virgin Islands will be required to present a valid, government issued ID and a birth certificate. A passport will be required to visit the British Virgin Islands on any water sports excursions. Please contact the hotel for further information.
