The hotel is compliant with ADA. ADA compliant guest rooms are available. Please contact the hotel directly to make these arrangements.
Alcohol Policy
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to reserve a room.
Check Policy
Personal checks are accepted for payment provided the guest is able to produce a valid photo ID.
Our SPG Gold/Platinum/VIP members may cash checks at the front desk for up to $300 per stay.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are available but not guaranteed and need to be requested. Please contact the hotel directly to make these arrangements.
Credit Card Policy
When checking in, guests must present a credit card to the front desk staff.
Currency Policy
Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars. There are currency exchange facilities located in the McNamara Terminal adjacent to the hotel.
Early Departure Policy
Guests staying more than one night will be charged a $75 early departure fee should they decide to leave before their scheduled checkout date.
Early Arrival Policy
We are happy to accommodate early arrivals when possible. Guests arriving before 7am will be charged the full day rate; guests arriving from 7am - 9am will be charged a $75 early arrival fee; and guests arriving from 9am - 3pm will be charged at the discretion of the front desk manager, subject to availability.
Extra Bedding Policy
Rollaway beds are available by request for a fee of $20 USD per rollaway/per night.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are redeemable subject to availability. Contact the hotel for additional information.
ID Requirement
Valid government issued identification required at check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
Late checkouts are complimentary until 1pm. Guests checking out between 2pm and 4pm will be charged $50. Between 4pm and 6pm, 50% of the room rate will be charged and after 6pm, the full nightly room rate will apply.
Meeting Room Policy
A minimum revenue guarantee is required for meetings and events booked at the hotel. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
Noise/Disturbance Policy
Westin Detroit Security Personnel will be dispatched to investigate to all noise/disturbance complaints.
Package Handling/Freight Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
If you need any equipment delivered to the hotel, please make a reservation with our Catering/Convention Services manager. All equipment must be delivered to Bradford Airport Logistics Dockmaster. A form will be provided for the delivery company to fill out and return to the appropriate manager. The hotel does not have storage space for crates, pallets, or large shipments. Materials to be sent to the hotel must arrive no more than three days in advance of guest arrival. Each piece that is received or shipped will incur handling fees based on weight.
Pet Policy
We welcome dogs up to 40 pounds with a carrier. Guests must sign a pet waiver at check in. We are happy to provide a Westin Heavenly Dog Bed and food/water bowls with a mat. No other animals are permitted.

Payment Policy
In order to arrange for third party payment, the credit card holder must contact the hotel at least 72 hours prior to the guest's arrival to receive a credit card authorization link. Once the information is received by the hotel, the credit card will be charged immediately for the entire stay (room and tax). Please contact the hotel at (734) 229-6708 for further information.
Security Policy
The hotel offers guests a private security entrance into the McNamara Terminal for added convenience. The security checkpoint is operated by TSA and open from 7:45am to 7pm.
Smoking Policy
In keeping with our Breathe Westin® initiative, all guest rooms, suites, and public spaces inside the hotel are 100% smoke-free.
