Check Cashing Policy
Check cashing services are not available to guests.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms are available but are not guaranteed.
King-sized rooms can be connected to rooms with two double beds. King-sized rooms can also be connected to king-sized rooms. Rooms with two double beds can be connected to a room with two-double beds.

Credit Card Policy
With valid photo ID, all major credit cards will be accepted. In order to use a debit card at registration, a Debit Card Disclaimer must be read and signed by the guest. Please note, debit card holds will include room charges plus incidentals even if the debit card is not used as payment at check-out. The hold is released within 8-10 business days at the authorizing bank’s discretion after check out.
Early Arrival Policy
Requests for early arrivals and early check-ins are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Extra Bedding Policy
A maximum of one extra bed is allowed in select rooms. A daily fee is applicable.
Gift Certificate Policy
We are delighted to honor valid gift certificates based on availability. Blackout dates may apply. Please contact the hotel directly to purchase or redeem a gift certificate.
We request that you provide us with gift certificate information when booking a reservation. Also, gift certificates must be present during redemption and cannot be replaced.
Each hotel gift certificate expires one year after its date of issue.
The hotel permits dogs weighing 45 pounds or less with a Heavenly® Dog Bed, food and water bowls with a floor mat, “dog in room” signage, and a welcome kit (subject to availability). No deposit is required. Cats and other animals are not permitted.
Owners must sign a waiver at check-in and are responsible for any damage or additional cleaning required. Dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted in dining and recreation areas. Dogs must not be left unattended in your room. If an unattended dog disturbs a neighboring guest, a $200 fee will be charged.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
The Westin Tampa Bay is a smoke-free hotel. Smoking is permitted outside of the hotel. There is a cleaning fee of $200 for smoking in a non-smoking room and $300 for smoking in suites.
The hotel does not offer a waitlist. Please check availability online periodically if the desired dates are not initially available.
