ADA Policy

There are a total of nine ADA accommodations. Accessible rooms in the hotel are as follows: three standard kings, three standard queen/queen, one Grande Deluxe corner room, one Westin Executive Club Floor king, and one suite.

Accessible rooms have lowered closets, bathroom handrails; roll in shower or a HC bathtub.

Please contact the Front Office Manager regarding TDD equipment set up in guest room.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older (with valid identification). No outside alcohol is allowed at The Westin Edina Galleria.

Age Requirement Policy

Must be at least 21 years of age to check-in and a valid credit card is required.

EMV/Chip & PIN Credit Card Policy

Please be aware this hotel is EMV/Chip & PIN ready and your credit card’s PIN may be necessary for you to check-in to the hotel.  If you are not aware of the PIN for your chip credit card, or are unsure if your card requires a PIN, please contact the financial institution that issued your credit card for clarity and to secure your PIN. 

Check Cashing Policy

The hotel does not offer check cashing services.  There is an ATM on site.

Early Departure Policy

An early departure fee of one night applies to guests checking out prior to their departure date without at least 24 hours notice. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Extra Bedding Policy

Rollaway beds and cribs are available on request but are not guaranteed. Rollaway beds can not be placed into rooms with two queen beds.

Late Checkout Policy

Late check-out is subject to availability and may be subject to a fee.

Noise/Disturbance Policy

The hotel has a strict no tolerance disturbance policy on its guest floors and public spaces. If for any reason the hotel deems it necessary, the hotel will ask the offending party or parties to leave the hotel.

Occupancy Policy

Only registered guests of the hotel are allowed in the guest rooms. A maximum occupancy of five people may not be exceeded at any time. The maximum occupancy for king bedded rooms is three adults.

Pet Policy

Dogs up to 40 pounds are allowed. Guests must sign a waiver for damage and cleaning. The Heavenly® Dog Beds and food/water bowls are available upon request. Dogs can not be left unattended in the guest room or the public areas. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, Westin Executive Club Lounge, or any other area in violation of local health codes.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

Guests may pay with cash at check-out however a valid credit card is required at check-in.  Personal checks are not accepted.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms and suites are non-smoking. A $250 non-refundable cleaning fee will be charged to guests who smoke in the room.

Suite Policy

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to register in a suite. Guests must also have a valid credit card and a damage deposit is required. The hotel discourages gatherings in sleeping rooms including suites. Maximum occupancy should not be exceeded at any time.

Waitlist Policy

Please contact the Front Office Manager for waitlist availability. Potential guests must have a valid credit card and full reservation information on file.
