Possible VAT Change
Our prices include the applicable VAT (value added tax). Should the VAT rate be raised after room booking, the relevant VAT rate will be the rate applicable during the period of your stay in our Hotel. The room price may be increased thereby.
For non-US hotels, rates confirmed in USD may be converted to local currency by the hotel at your time of stay, based on the exchange rate used by the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Credit card charges are subject to additional currency conversions by banks or credit card companies, which are not within the hotel's control and may impact the amount charged to your credit card. Please contact the hotel if you have any questions.
Disability Accessible Policy

All hotel facilities are disability accessible and we offer two wheelchairs for on-site use. Additional wheelchairs can be arranged through the Concierge. Fees may apply.
Full alcoholic beverage service is available only to individuals aged 18 years or older (with valid identification). Individuals who are 16 years or older are allowed to purchase beer and wine drinks.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with valid photo identification to check in. Acceptable forms include an ID card or passport. It is possible for parents to check-in for underage guests. Parents must inform our reception team by email at email@example.com or by fax at (49)(89) 9264 869. Please include a copy of the parent's passport with a separate letter confirming check-in for the child or children.
Check Cashing Policy
No personal checks are accepted.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms can be requested but are not guaranteed. To request a room, please contact the hotel directly at (49)(89) 9264 8601.
Early Departure Policy
Checkout dates are confirmed at check-in. An early departure fee may be imposed on guests departing prior to their scheduled departure date.
Beginning October 1, 2008, the Munich city center has been established as a low-emission “green zone” and can only be accessed by cars displaying environmental badges on their fronts (regardless of registration in Germany or another country). High-emission vehicles are no longer allowed to drive in the city center. By law, vehicles not displaying this badge may be fined. Foreign visitors can now obtain environmental badges for their cars and trucks online.
Our hotel is located outside the green zone.
Extra Bedding Policy
Extra beds are available upon request, for a daily fee. Baby cots are available for free by request. Please note that the hotel does not provide blankets, bumpers, or pillows with your crib. Please request the baby cot in the Special Request section when booking your reservation.
Family Plan Policy
Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.
Gift Certificate Policy
In order to redeem a gift certificate, please send a copy of the gift certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax it to (49)(89) 93001 6837.
We welcome pets at The Westin Grand Munich. A pet waiver must be signed at check-in. Dogs carry a fee of 20 EUR and cats 10 EUR per day. Pets are not allowed in dining areas. Guests receive a special door hanger for their pets. If damage occurs to the guest room, extra charges apply. Dog-sitting can be arranged through our Concierge for 15 EUR per hour.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
The credit card used to make a reservation must be valid for the entire stay. Please present this credit card at the hotel upon check-in. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you must contact the hotel directly to arrange for third party billing.
All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking. Please contact the hotel for further information.
