Accessibility Policy

We are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provide our guests with wheelchair rental, handicap parking and a wheelchair-accessible courtesy shuttle.

Several accessible rooms are available within the hotel with roll-in showers for wheelchair accessibility, accessible sink in the washroom, wider door frames, lowered light switches and lowered closet bars.

These rooms are available with one king-size bed only.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid identification). Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages purchased off-site into the hotel. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Age Requirement Policy

By law, we require that each guest room be occupied by one adult at least 18 years of age.

Check Policy

Checks are accepted for pre-payment of reservations, however, these must be received 15 days prior to the arrival of the guest. We do not accept checks at the hotel for payment upon departure.

The hotel does not offer check cashing services.

Connecting Room Policy

Connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed before check in and are subject to availability. Several connecting rooms consisting of one Traditional Accessible King plus one Traditional 2 Queen are available throughout the hotel.

Extra Bedding Policy

Fire and Safety regulations in Montreal do not allow an extra bed is to be placed in a two-bedded room. Rollaway beds may only be added in King bedrooms, for an additional fee.

Meeting Room Policy

A 17% gratuity will be added to the Food & Beverage invoice for all meetings.

Pet Policy

One cat or one dog (weighing no more than 40 pounds/18 kilograms) is permitted at no additional charge. A waiver must be signed at check-in. A pet may not be left unattended in a guest room. The following services and amenities are available:

  • Dog bed
  • Bowl and mat
  • “Dog in Room” signage
  • Pet welcome kit

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. If a debit card was provided as payment, a cash refund will be provided for funds held in excess of the amount actually incurred and charged.

Payment Policy

A valid credit card is required at check-in for payment of the room, tax and incidental charges. To pay by cash, a deposit equal to the full room and tax amount will be collected, in addition to 150 CAD per night.

Third-party payment arrangements may be arranged by contacting the hotel's reservations department at least 72 hours prior to the guest arrival at info@westinmontreal.com.

Smoking Policy

We are proud to offer a 100% non-smoking environment. A cleaning fee of 250 CAD will be applied to the account of any guest who smokes in a guest room.
