Beach Information
Please note that all beaches in Costa Rica are available to the general public and are not exclusive or private for hotel guests. Please contact the resort for further information.
Currency Fluctuations
Rates confirmed in USD are guaranteed in U.S. dollars when paid in U.S. cash or traveler's checks. Payments made by credit cards at the hotel will be charged in the local currency equivalent based on the daily exchange rate used by the hotel. Currency conversions by banks or credit card companies in processing payments are not within the control of the hotel and are subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

ADA Policy
The resort offers seven disability accessible Royal Beach Club Rooms.
Alcohol Policy
We are pleased to serve alcoholic beverages to guests over 18 years of age (with valid identification).
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years old with a valid, government-issued ID to check in.
Check Acceptance Policy
We do not accept any checks as payment.
Connecting Room Policy
Connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed in advance and are subject to availability at the time of check-in.
Early Arrival Policy
We are pleased to offer early check-in, subject to availability. Checking in before 12pm will incur a charge of 50% of the room rate. To guarantee early check-in, guests must reserve the room for the previous night, at the full room rate.
Environmental/Green Policy
Feeding wildlife is not allowed on resort property. Guests may donate an additional 1 USD per room, per night toward programs that fund nature preserves and local humanitarian causes.
Extra Bedding Policy
Extra bedding is subject to availability. Only one extra bed is allowed per room.
Family Plan Policy
Additional fee applies for children between 3 and 12 years old sleeping in existing bedding. Guests 13 years of age and older will be charged as an adult. Fees for children ages 3 to 12 years old (per child, per night): January - December 23, 2013: Add 145 USD
ID Requirement
Valid identification is required at check-in.
Late Checkout Policy
We are pleased to offer late checkout, subject to availability. Checkouts between 1pm and 3pm incur a charge of 50% of the room rate. For checkouts after 6pm, one nights' room rate will apply.
All Inclusive Policy
Our all-inclusive experience puts everything at your fingertips, so you can focus on savoring time together and finding balance. Your daily rate encompasses all meals, drinks, and entertainment options, as well as government taxes and service charges. Some exclusions apply. Learn more
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed.
Reservation Policy
Credit cards are required at check-in. Debit cards can only be provided for payment at checkout; they cannot be accepted as a guarantee at check-in.
Restaurant Policy
Restaurant availability and hours of operation may vary based on seasonality. Dinner reservations are required for our à la carte restaurants. Please contact the resort directly for more information.
SPG Participation Disclaimer
All rooms at The Westin Golf Resort & Spa, Playa Conchal are upgraded accommodations; therefore, Starpoint Award reservations must be booked at a higher Starpoint rate through your local customer contact center.
Smoking Policy
According to local law, all public areas and guest rooms are non-smoking. Guests who smoke in their guest room will be charged a cleaning fee of 200 USD.
