Weekends last longer at Westin with late checkout on Sunday. Availability may vary.

ADA Policy

The hotel is fully compliant with ADA and offers ADA Accessible Rooms upon request.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 18 years or older with valid identification to reserve a guest room.

Check Policy

Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid American Express credit card and photo identification. There is a limit of 50 USD per day.

Connecting Room Policy

Connecting rooms can be requested but are dependent on availability at the time of check-in. We offer a limited number of king rooms connecting with double rooms. Please contact the hotel directly to request connecting rooms or for more information.

Early Departure Policy

An early departure fee may be imposed on guests checking out prior to their scheduled departure date as confirmed upon check-in. Pre-paid reservations are subject to an early departure fee equal to 50% of one night’s room rate. Please check the Terms & Details of your reservation for specific conditions.

Early Arrival Policy

We are pleased to offer guests early check-in after 12pm, based on room availability. Guests requesting arrival prior to 12pm will be charged 100% of the previous night's room rate. Please contact the hotel directly to notify us of early arrival.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates are available for purchase from the hotel and Todd English P.U.B. To redeem a hotel gift certificate, contact the Revenue Management Department with the gift certificate number. The original gift certificate is required at check-in.

ID Requirement

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver's license, passport, and/or proof of age card.

Late Checkout Policy

We are pleased to offer late checkouts based on availability. Checkouts after 4pm will be charged the best available rate for the night.

Package Handling Policy

There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.

Pet Policy

Dogs up to 80 pounds and cats are welcome at The Westin Birmingham. A complimentary Welcome Kit and a Heavenly® Dog Bed will be provided. The hotel reserves the right to charge a pet cleaning fee of 250 USD for any pet-related damage to the room.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Payment Policy

Major credit cards, checks, and cash are acceptable forms of payment.

Smoking Policy

All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% non-smoking.  A 250 USD cleaning fee will be charged to any guests who violate the smoking policy.
