Special Conditions

Hotel Renewal Project Until September 2016

Until approximately September 2016, the hotel will be conducting a multi-million dollar renovation to guestrooms, meeting spaces, restaurant, Westinworkout® Fitness Studio, and lobby. During this time, there may be occasional noise disturbance; however, there should be minimal disruption to guests. The following facilities will be temporary relocated:

  • Front Desk will be located on the second floor.
  • Café in the Park and Lobby Bar will be located in the Covington meeting room located on the first floor.

ADA Policy

The hotel offers 25 guest rooms that meet all local municipal building code requirements for accessible rooms.

Alcohol Policy

The hotel operates under the legal regulations provided by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. We are not permitted to serve alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21, nor can we allow the consumption of any alcoholic beverages that are not purchased on our premises (liquor cannot be brought in from outside the hotel).

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room.

Check Cashing Policy

Check cashing services are available to guests who present a valid drivers license with photo identification, with a limit of $50 per day and $150 per stay.

Credit Card Policy

In addition to the credit card requirement for reservations, a valid major credit card must be presented at check-in. To set up payment by a third-party credit card, please email or call accounting at (1)(972) 851-2032. All credit card authorizations must be received at least three days prior to arrival. The hotel does not accept same-day credit card authorizations.

Early Departure Policy

There will be a $50 charge for an early departure prior to the departure date confirmed at check-in.

Early Arrival Policy

Early check-in is offered when possible, subject to availability.

Extra Bedding Policy

Rollaway beds are available in all rooms except those with two double beds. Fee applies.

Gift Certificate Policy

To purchase or redeem a gift certificate, please directly contact the Executive Office Assistant at the hotel .

ID Requirement

For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a drivers license, passport, and/or proof of age card.

Late Checkout Policy

Late departures after 2pm will be charged at a half day's rate.

Noise/Disturbance Policy

In an effort to create a peaceful environment for all of our guests, please be advised that parties of any kind are not permitted in any of our guest suites or rooms. Noise complaints are taken very seriously and may result in eviction without compensation. A maximum of 4 guests are permitted in a suite or guest room at any one time. Any compensation given to guests disturbed by you or your guests may be charged to your account at the hotel’s discretion.

Package Handling Policy

There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.

Pet Policy

We welcome cats and dogs 40 pounds or less. Guests must sign a waiver upon check-in. There is also a non-refundable 50 USD cleaning fee regardless of length of stay.

Pet Guidelines:

  • Keep pet on a leash or in a carrier while in public areas.
  • Keep pet out of all Food & Beverage areas.
  • Always be present while any member of the Hotel staff is in the room.
  • Notify the Front Desk when leaving the pet unattended in the guest room.
  • Prevent noise or any other disturbance by the pet.
  • Pay for any additional cleaning bills or repairs should they be required.
  • Keep the Pet In-Room sign on the guest room door (hotel will provide the sign)

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Smoking Policy

We are a smoke-free hotel. All guest rooms, suites, and public spaces inside the hotel are 100% smoke-free. Under the Breathe Westin® program, registered guests who smoke in a guest room or suite will be liable for an additional fee of $200 USD so the room can be sufficiently cleaned and ready for the next guest.
