Disability Accessible Policy

The hotel has rooms that are designed to be accessible to guests with disabilities. Corridors are 80 centimeters wide, and bathroom doors are 76 centimeters wide. Bathrooms have roll-in showers and grip bars next to toilets. One wheelchair is on site but is subject to availability. TDD equipment is not available. Please email concierge.00079@starwoodhotels.com to make arrangements for an accessible room.

Alcohol Policy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older with valid identification.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests under the age of 18 must bear letter from their parent or guardian.

Babysitting/Child Care Policy

Our hotel does not provide babysitting services, contract sitters for guests, or negotiate their rates. The concierge can provide names and telephone numbers to guests, who must then contact available sitters and accept their conditions. Fees are set by babysitters themselves.

Check Acceptance Policy

Personal checks are not accepted.

Connecting Room Policy

The majority of the hotel’s 56 connecting rooms are located on the 5th floor (non-smoking floor). If connecting rooms are required, the following room pairs are most likely to be available:

  • Deluxe Room (king bed) to Deluxe Room (two single beds)
  • Deluxe Room (two single beds) to Deluxe Room (two single beds)
  • Executive Suite (king bed) to Premium View Room (two single bed)
  • Executive Suite (king bed) to Junior Suite (king bed)

The best way to accommodate a family of four is to either:

  • Confirm a suite with two extra beds, or
  • Confirm two connecting rooms, each with two single beds

The inside door will convert these rooms into one very large room with two complete bathrooms.

Early Departure Policy

Modifications on the length of stay or early departures are subject to rate variations and an additional early departure fee of 100 EUR.

Early Arrival Policy

Standard check-in time for the hotel is 3pm. To guarantee an early check-in, please confirm the room reservation for the previous night at the best available rate.

Extra Bedding Policy

Extra beds are available for a fee. Cribs are free of charge. There is a maximum of one bed or crib per room. Junior Suites and Executive Suites can sleep 2 people but can accommodate up to 4 people (adults or children) with 2 extra beds (or cribs).

Family Plan Policy

Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.

Gift Certificate Acceptance Policy

Valid gift certificates can be redeemed at the hotel. Please contact the hotel directly or the contact on the certificate to reserve a room.

If no specific hotel contact name is identified on the certificate, please contact the Reservations Department at reservations.palacemadrid@westin.com.

Maximum Occupancy Policy

The maximum occupancy for all basic room types is three persons. Four persons can be accomodated in all suites but will require two extra beds with their corresponding charges. A fee may apply according to the hotel's child policy.

Pet Policy

Dogs up to 40 pounds or 18 kilograms are allowed, free of charge.

If excessive damage to the guestroom is caused by their dog and repairs or deep-cleaning are required, guests will be responsible for the cost of the repairs or cleaning. If the damage is discovered after the guest departs, the credit card on record will be billed for the cost of these additional services.

A waiver must be signed at check-in before a dog is allowed in any guestroom or public area.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Third Party Payment Policy

A non-guest wishing to pay for a guest in the hotel must fax a signed authorization by the cardholder. Please specify which charges can be charged to the credit card and fax the information to (34)(91) 360 77 78 prior to the guest's arrival. The hotel will not accept credit card information through email. Smoking Policy

All public spaces, including meeting rooms, are 100% non-smoking. Guests may still smoke in designated smoking guest rooms. Per Spanish Law, a hotel employee may choose to not enter a smoking guest room while the guest is present.

Passport Policy

Upon check-in, all guests occupying the guest room must present a passport or ID.

Voucher Acceptance Policy

Vouchers are accepted.

Waitlist Policy

Hotel does offer a waitlist. Guest should provide a phone number and will be called if a room is available.
