One thing I noticed was ho professional an attentive the front desk clerk was (Becca, I think). She thought of everything, so I wouldn't have to. All questions answered and gave me everything I needed for a great stay.

An error occurred on my original reservation confirmation that I did not catch. I alerted the staff of the Westin Michigan Avenue when calling to confirm my room for an upcoming weekend.
That's when their kind and considerate staff took over. Even though I was equal part to blame, the dates of my stay were restored without hesitation. I was even given a room upgrade with a view overlooking Michigan Avenue for my trouble.
It was a textbook example on how to deal with a problem. Not only did they solve it, but they earned a repeat customer as well.
The room was clean, spacious, luxurious and comfortable. Kind and courteous front desk and bell hop staff.
I highly recommend the Westin Michigan Avenue.

We booked this Westin Hotel since it was located near to where we were going to my niece's wedding. In addition, we stayed at this Westin Hotel in the past and had an enjoyable experience. The wedding was scheduled to start at 5:00 PM and our check in time at your hotel was at 3:00 PM. Since we were traveling 165 miles to get to the wedding, we planned to shower and change at your hotel. As it turned out, traffic in Chicago had us arriving after 4:00 PM but still plenty of time to change and go to the wedding. However, on checking in, we were told that our room was not ready. When we told your staff that the room was to be ready at 3:00 PM, your staff person replied that the check in time of 3:00 PM was no guarantee and that we would have to wait. At 4:45 PM my wife informed the staff person that she would be changing in the first floor restroom unless we were given a room to change in so that we could make the wedding. We were told that we could change in Room 1736 but that room would not be our room for the night. Upon knocking on the door to Room 1736, my wife was greeted by a half naked man who answered the door in only a towel. He asked if the hotel staff had also sent us to this room to change. Since my wife was unwilling to share this room with this half naked man, she contacted the hotel staff and then was told she could use Room 1846 to change in. Once again she was told that this was a temporary situation and would not be our room for the night. After quickly changing clothes, we were able to get over to a nearby hotel for part of the wedding ceremony. On returning to the Westin after attending the wedding reception at the nearby hotel, we informed the front desk that we needed keys to our room. When asked how our stay has been, we relayed to him the nightmare we had been through and he copied down the details we gave him. He assured us that he would pass this information on to his manager. Therefore, we expected to be contacted by someone on Sunday morning but when we checked out of your hotel at about noon, we heard from no one.

Nice hotel. We got a remodeled room that was nice, but still had a paint smell. $67 parking is ridiculous.

I needed to secure a limo to attend a meeting outside of Chicago during my recent stay. The concierge Rhoda, booked an excellent service and then went beyond to secure an adjusted rate when there was conflicting rates. This took numerous phone calls and messages but she made sure she followed through and was successful. This type of service is greatly appreciated !

I was in Chicago for a long weekend conference. Staying at the Westin was a great choice. It felt very calming after a long day. I felt like I had everything I needed right around me and if I needed to the staff was ready to help me.

Had it not been so incredibly cold during my stay, I am sure I would have enjoyed my stay here even more. I tried to walk around the area but due to single-digit temperatures and wind, it was of short duration. I was in Chicago to attend opera so you go when it's onstage despite the calendar. I had a lovely lunch in The Grill on the Alley and appreciated the concierge service that arranged for my ride to O'Hare to return to my home.
