This was our third time staying at the Westin Verasa in Napa California. We will definitely come back.
It is a real treat to stay here. The customer service is exceptional!

The Hotel was new and wonderful. The staff are courteous, friendly and very attentive. The room suite I was in was very well done and spacious. Very nice hotel all around!

This was the perfect location for visiting Napa. You can walk to downtown and also to the wine train. Easy to reach hundreds of wineries from either Hwy 29 or Silverado.

Great hotel, good service, excellent concierge. Rooms were very nice and clean. The location was central and safe which enabled us to walk to local restaurants at night.

Although our room was clean and we were greeted kindly, we expected more attention to details from the Westin and its staff.
A few examples:
*room service tray was in our hallway upon arrival (around 1pm) and the same tray was still there when we returned just before dinner at (6pm).
* our room service order arrived 20 mins after promised, and only after we called for status
*our own room service trays (breakfast) were not picked up until late that evening - they sat in the hallway all day
*asked for a bottle of water before heading to workout room and was asked to wait at front desk only for the staff member to return and tell me, "sorry, we don't have any and have asked housekeeping to bring us more."
* housekeeping cleaned our room and didn't replenish soap, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion
*$3 for a "tall" poured coffee is excessive - we expect a four diamond hotel (and any Westin hotel) to provide coffee in the lobby for all guests, not just Gold member guests.
* wait staff at the Bank was slow and inattentive
*Our one very positive experience during our stay was at La Toque restaurant - it was wonderful.

we loved this place. great location in Napa. our server Earl was awesome both nights he waited on us. very comfortable and it felt like home.

Our room (2010) was quite noisy as it is just above the entrance to the hotel with folks coming and going, picking up their cars etc. Other than that, great place!

I was blown away by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. SPG beats any other of the major Hotel chains, and this Hotel is best in class in my book.

This is the BEST Westin in the US. The entire process from check-in to check-out is immaculate. The valet is probably the hardest working staff I have ever seen. They all want to help you with opening the doors to luggage to opening the door. This sets the one for the entire stay. The front staff is amazing. Having stayed here so many time, people remember me. Particularly, I love Britney and Justin.
Next are the rooms. Regardless of the size, they kitchnettes (like you wanna cook!), But it's if you wanna store leftovers or chill some Napa Chardonnay. The restaurants are top notch and the there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. If you don't eat there, at least have a drink at the bar. Bobby at the Bank does amazing drinks and is so customer service focused. They also have a $40 Stags Leap for the entire bottle!
Lastly, this Westin is particulary dog friendly. They go out of their way to remember Cozmo and take care of him. I have met the General Manager, Don, several times and he really sets the leadership and customer service for the entire place. I only wish I could live here full time - it's that good!

This is at least our sixth visit to the Westin Verasa over the past four years, and by far the worst experience. Normally, we love this hotel, with attention to detail, great service, and cleanliness. This time, we did not receive housekeeping our room the first two days until we complained. We did not receive requested turn down service either. Our initial concern was dried blood caked on door handle to balcony, and was not cleaned after numerous requests to clean (not until the third day). Horrible! After our third complaint, Dustin did a nice job communicating and had the manager call us, thank you Dustin for your caring. We and other people were "kicked out" of the hot tub 40 minutes prior to closing b/c the staff member wanted to leave early, and he just said "you need to leave" without advance notice or explanation. The manager called to apologize, but we were in our room disappointed in how we were treated on a potentially relaxing Friday evening. Other details: no one opened the front door or greeted us like they had in the past, the concierge never greeted us (like they used to), and the hallways floors were ALWAYS dirty.

It was 4th of July weekend, so I understand the hotel was probably busier than usual. The Valet parking situation needs to be improved. Matty was awesome and without him in the front, it would've been chaos. Check-in desk had two people working and 7-8 groups checking in on the 4th.
The pool is nice, but it was packed (again, it was the 4th of July, so maybe it's a little less crowded on regular weekends). The bar area service at the pool was poor. (FYI - There is a 20% service fee added to all orders at the pool.) There is also a $20/day resort fee, which includes wireless internet.
Our Suite was spacious, the bathroom was laid out well, enough counter space and a very good shower. The bed was comfy, but we called twice asking for foam pillows or the firmest pillows they had and kept getting squishy, feathery pillows.
The Hotel/Resort location is a two minute walk to Oxbow Public Market and about 8-10 minute walk to the center of downtown, which makes it a great place to stay. And as crowded as the pool was, the Andaz doesn't have a pool.
Overall, we had a pretty good stay and we'd try the hotel again on a non-holiday weekend.

Bedding for hide a bed needs to be reviewed. The comforter given was not in very good condition and thank goodness my son brought his own blanket.

Overall, the property is nice, the staff is courteous, and the main restaurant in the hotel is excellent.
However, there was one aspect of the stay that was disappointing.
We booked a two-bedroom deluxe/luxury suite for one night. We arrived at noon and were told the room had not been cleaned and that it would be a couple of hours before we could get into the room. This was fine since the advertised check-in is 3 pm, so we left and toured the local area until 5 pm. When we returned at 5 pm we were told that the room was still not ready and that we would have to wait some more. About five minutes later the desk clerk came over, said our room was ready, and handed us the keys. It turned out that the room she gave us was a standard two bedroom suite (The difference is that the couple who stayed in the second room had to go into the common area to shower, etc. The deluxe suites have en-suite baths in both rooms.). The desk clerk did this with no explanation and we were still charged the rate that we had agreed to pay for the deluxe suite.
As a long time Platinum member, I understand that things happen that can cause delays, but I do think that the hotel staff should be forthcoming about the change.
