Yet another great experience at a fantastic hotel. The staff, especially Ann at the front desk, is always great. I called in due to a flight change and Ann was able to add a night to my stay with no problems. They always have a great can do attitude. Hyung at the bar is also great and has an amazing memory and mind for football, so he's always fun to talk to.
The only negative I can comment on is inconsistent hot water in the shower. It has a tendency to fluctuate drastically.

I have written before to compliment your staff including Young your bartender. My stays the last two weeks were again most pleasing due to your employees including the wait staff at breakfast and Young. Your front desk staff have always helpful. This last trip I dealt with Geneva several times and feel she stands out in professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail. Continued congratulations on having such a well run hotel. It is always a pleasant experience.

Stayed at this hotel because we missed our flight connection (United, from New Orleans to Hartford) due to airline delays. Got discounted rate, which was quite reasonable for the type of facility. Pros: The bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Cons: Bar closed at 11 pm, before we arrived (and really needed a drink - see above re: airline mess-ups). It was suggested that we walk across the huge parking lot, in the cold and dark, to the bar in the neighboring hotel! (Not!)

We enjoyed our stay this last Saturday night. However, we stayed with our two dogs. Somehow they managed to find pistachio shells on the floor from the prior guest. Evidently the maid service missed them. Not good. Also, it seemed that the hotel was putting all their guests with dogs on the same floor. If anyone knows anything about dogs, if one starts barking, they all start barking so I was concerned that mine would join in with the 2 dogs across the hall that barked for 2 hrs non-stop. Once I told the front desk to let their owners know, the barking did stop. Perhaps they returned to the room and the dogs settled down. My recommendation to the hotel would be to spread the dogs out on various floors so that this can be alleviated. All in all the hotel is very clean and quiet. The a/c in the room are also nice and quiet. I would recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel nearly every other week for the past 5 years. For this loyalty - I experience very little reciprocal effort. Some times I'm upgrade other times no mention..."sold out". This week was a bust. I was asked if I wanted to "go green" I asked if I could do it the first night but have my room cleaned after the second night...they said "yes" just stop by the front desk and ask that they take the code off. So that was what I did. I stopped by and asked that my room be serviced. When I returned at 7pm that evening it was not serviced. I complained and they said they could service the room. I just asked them to bring up some coffee and shampoo. No apology or effort to make it right. BTW, I was the person responsible for having my company pick this hotel as the place for our out of town traveler stay at.

booked two rooms for my mother and myself. got one upgrade with connecting rooms. Zhe minibsr in one of the rooms was not functional and despite my mentionning it never fixed. Front desk was helpfull with extending my Moms booking and letting her keep the upgraded room. That was really appreciated.

Here's a list of things that weren't quite right:
* room was not cleaned one day - yet the desk tried to tell me it was so I ended up with a mess of towels, no coffee, etc the 2nd day
* Bulbs burned out in room; clock radio not working; lampshade had huge cracks in it
* No hot water in bathroom faucet
* Check-in person had an attitude; others at front desk ended up being very helpful
* I stay at this hotel ~ 2X / month and this was the least satisfying stay yet

Upon check in, No one at SPG desk. During check in ,agent interrupted x3 to take room service order. Chose room Service for dinner, order process interrupted x2 to check someone in.Requested no onions, got onions. Ordered beer, no beer opener Glasses dirty, asked for mixed fruit bowl, got bowl of strawberries. Breakfast. , service poor and slow

Hotel stay was phenomenal, great price, accommodations, location and stay. Room was very nice staged and very romantic. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi was perfect considering we checked in/out on a rainy day. Would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to the DC Metro area. Stayed the weekend to celebrate my graduation and the hotel and restaurant was great. Staff treat you like royalty.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with minor billing issues encountered during my stay this past weekend. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic as well.
I was disappointed in the fact that I could not open the window shade that covered the entire window in my room because it was broken (top was out of the track) and that even though the website states that valet is complimentary for guests that the sign at the entrance states it's $10/day.

The staff have no customer service skills to speak of. There are a couple of exceptions, but for the most part the staff are completely disinterested in assisting. I've stayed here four times, this is not an isolated experience.
The restaurant staff are particularly bad. If they aren't terrible at serving, they are just plain rude. The restaurant is incredibly over-priced and made the W in DC look like a bargain. $30 for pad thai? Really?

I stayed at your hotel for my anniversary. My boyfriend and I were very pleased with the service provided by Marc and Geneva at the front desk. Also, Alexis was not there when we checked in, but took great care of us. She made sure that we had a suite and a nice little treat waiting for us in our room. Alexis definitely made our anniversary unforgettable.
I would stay again and recommend our hotel to my family and friends.

We were a bit disappointed when we checked in to find we had a room across from an elevator. We never heard it, nor did we hear anyone in the hallways or adjoining rooms. The Vinifera Restaurant was excellent. We are looking forward to our next stay so we can have dinner there again. My only negative comment is that my daughter and I found it impossible to see to put makeup on in the bathroom as the lighting was less than optimal.

We were here on an airline discount voucher - we are SPG gold members - were definitely treated as 1st class guests. After overseas arrival, cancelled flight home - it was wonderful to have a terrific shower & finally collapse into a heavenly bed. All the needed toiletry items were either provided or available in the gift shop. Our unplanned visit was a treat before facing airlines again. Thank you

For the price, the room could have looked much better. The housekeeping was insufficient, they only make the beds and replace the bathroom accessories. I stayed in a suite, not much better than a regular room. If I had known the difference I would have chosen a regular room. Breakfast was HORRIBLE both days I ate there. So, I did give it a second chance, same result. Orders where never correct, the first time ordered.

I enjoyed this hotel very much - especially the Vinifera dining option - however, it is pricy, it doesn't have a spa, they charge for internet, and do not offer any complimentary fare - no social, no happy hour, no continental breakfast. For the price, I think there should be a breakfast option other than a $17 yogurt from room service. Otherwise, it smells AMAZING, is very pretty and is close to Reston Towne Center.

On my recent visit to Reston, VA for my residency at the Univ. of Phoenix all my needs were met at the Westin Reston Heights Hotel. It started with a shuttle from the airport to a shuttle to and from school. This was perfect for me because it cut down on my stress level and no worries about transportation or renting a vehicle. I would recommend it to any student attending their residency in Reston, VA. T.Williams

Exceptional hotel - beautiul lobby, exceptionally appointed room, customer service at its VERY best (the entire staff we encountered aimed to please and go that extra mile or two or three (!) - especially the evening front desk staff), wonderful breakfast at Vinifera. Staying on Christmas, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! We were truly Restin' at the Reston Westin! Thank you for your hospitality!

Light bulbs were out of order in the bathroom, The shower faucet handle broke and the water was running for 2 hours before it was replaced. The draing was clogged in the bath tub, and to top it off, by safe would not open with the correct code. The hotel engineers could not reprogram the safe. The ended up cutting the safer to get my valuables out. Stayed in numberous SPG hotels and this was my worst experience.

As a frequent guest of The Westin, Reston, VA, I have come to appreciate the special care and attentiveness amongst the Staff. During my last several check-ins, the Staff welcomed me by name and promptly checked me in. This is most welcomed and appreciated. Further, since I typically check out before my Partner, the Staff goes out of their way to phone the room to make certain my Partner is readied for work!

This hotel was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. The maid service tended to be a little late during the day and sometimes missed our room all together so we had to have them clean our room while we were away at dinner. The only other criticism would be that there is no fridge. Otherwise its a nice and quiet westin hotel with wonderful front desk staff.

It's a nice looking hotel - good location. The staff is split in service. I was locked out of my room for a dead door battery - the guy who fixed it was awesome but it took forever. I was the hall in sweaty workout clothes and had to call twice. I ordered a burger it came with no ketchup or mustard - condiments and it we ehhh.

This was a great hotel for business travel, I came in on a red eye and they held my room for me. It was quiet and clean, staff was very professional, and it met the brand standard. I am a frequent business traveler so I appreciated the setting and the opportunity to actually sleep while I was away from home. Many thanks!

The Weston in Reston, VA is an exceptional hotel. The room was amazing, the staff was extremely courteous, helpful and friendly and the food was amazing. The Hotel Manager worked hard to make sure we had a room that I could navigate since I am physically handicapped for now due to Achilles surgery. We would stay there again and look forward to another trip to Virginia just to stay at the hotel.

The hotel was extremely convenient to the activities of Reston, dulles Airport and an amazing easy drive at 6:45 AM to downtown DC. Easy in and out access and convenient easy to drive in garage. The suite was spacious, including the bathroom with separate tub and shower and the room and particularly the bed had a clean, fresh scent. I was surprised that my room, facing the highway, was quiet.

The facility was nice and room was nice it just didn't have the feel of a five star hotel. There were no robes for going to the pool. Was suppose to get a free breakfast with the room that never was very clear on how to get, wasn't worth the hassle. The food was alright. We had room service and the "pad Thai" was not pad Thai which would have been alright if it was really good but was not.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Reston Heights a number of times. Each time the staff and their attentiveness exceeds my expectations. The quality of the service is outstanding, as is the food. The Executive Chef's recent changes to the menu have been fantastic. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to any SPG traveler.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, and the rooms very comfortable and clean. There was only 1 evening staff member who was not very helpful in assisting me in getting to the Vienna metro stop to pick up my daughter. I ended up at the wrong stop, also located in Vienna but not the final stop on the orange line. Restaurant food excellent. Loved the free covered parking.
