The staff went above and beyond!!! My cell had broken and I desperately needed to make an international call. I was allowed to borrow one of the staff's private phone in order to send an SMS. I have never experienced such service before!!

I want to buy the bed I slept in on Saturday night .
Your staff was universally competent and also fun to be with.
My request to buy the bed was hyperbolic. I just meant to say that I got a great night’s sleep. .

It was nice to see the hotel saw my spg status and upgraded me to the next best room they had. This made my stay very easy since i was near the complimentary breakfast area on the 6th floor. This saved me a lot of time each morning. I thank the girl at the front desk. I cannot remember her name but she always smiled and she spoke very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JLhaveford nice staff, good restaurant, everything works, tired rooms
We stay in this hotel almost every week as my husband is relocated to Princeton temporarily.
The hotel is at a convenient location. The executive lounge is convenient. The restaurant is surprisingly good but qualities are inconsistent.
Staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful, although not always successful.
Here's a good example about service at this hotel. I forgot my sonic toothbrush during one stay. When I called to ask, the cleaning crew actually turned it in to the office (great) so I told them I'd pick it up the following week. The following week came, the front desk knew nothing about it (not so great). After asking around, they said the manager had it in his office (great) but he was out. Several hours later I still did not have my toothbrush (not so great). Then they said they'd send someone to a drugstore to buy one for me (great). The drug store did not have it. So they promised they'd buy one and send it to my house. I indeed received a toothbrush a week later (great), except it was the wrong model: not only it was a cheaper model, it also uses a different brush head which means all my stocked brush heads are useless now. I still have to buy my own toothbrush which does not make me happy.
I was quite impressed that the staff tried hard to solve my problem, in particular actually did buy me a toothbrush. I very much appreciated the effort. On the other hand, my toothbrush should not have gotten lost in the manager's office to begin with, and the follow-up correction was not executed well and ended up costing me anyway.
The rooms are definitely below average in SPG hotels. They are functional, but they are dirty (stains on carpets and walls). I have not had one room without at least one fly. Heating system is bad: noisy; no way to turn it off; and worst of all, does not heat up the room effectively. It really gets cold in the room. Sheets and towels are adequate but they are not quality items.

Overall the staff is excellent. From Thierry and the rest of the front desk staff to Ricardo at the bar. I always feel welcome at the Westin.
The only thing that I would like to see changed is for a pullup bar/dip station combo added to the gym as well as a rowing machine, stairmaster and or spin bike added to the gym.

Rated 4 out of 5 by alvins Comfortable Hotel but had issues
This was my first stay at a Westin hotel and also my first ever business trip.
The room and amenities are very nice and clean. The gym was amazing and is open 24/7. There are also cooled towels and various yoga type of exercise equipment.
The pool is both indoor and outdoor and is also open year-round. I used the pool just once but had a great time, it's pretty big and warm. However, the pool does not have a restroom or shower for changing which can be a problem. Most people just walk to the gym's restroom for changing.
I was upgraded to a business suite on the top floor and it is okay. Same size as most hotels I believe. The room has a comfortable desk for working and great views from the window. The bed is excellent and slept perfectly all four nights. The free in-room Wi-Fi like most hotels are just terrible and slow.
However, I did experience some issues. The bathtub's drain does not close completely, making it hard to take a bath. It will leak water down even when closed. The only option is to keep the water running while taking a bath. I did contact the front desk about the issue to fix it but nothing changed when I checked the following day.
One night when I returned to my room, the staff had forgot to clean my room. I had to contact the front desk to send a maid for cleaning which required me to wait another hour before I could go to sleep. The staff did mention that I'd be given Starwood points for the hassle but I never received the points until I called them back a week later.
The location is quite convenient. it is a short 10 min drive to Princeton University and lots of parking is available. It is located in a small cozy mall-like village. However, I was unable to find any restaurants within walking distance other than a formal attire steakhouse.
Overall, I had a great stay without major issues. The staff is friendly and nice but I did run into problems as noted above. I would stay again in the future if I were to travel to Princeton.

I had stayed at this property previously and was very satisfied with my previous stay. I had business near the hotel and wanted to stay at a Starwood property. I wasn't disappointed this time around. However, a couple of notes: 1) according to the front desk staff, the hotel is in the process of converting the Presidential Suite into an Executive Lounge for Platinum members. An EXCELLENT improvement over their current "lounge in a closet". 2) apparently some of those renovation activities occur before 7:00 am. So if your are in a room near the future lounge, be prepared for some early morning hammering and general banging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LikeW Beautiful hotel but don't expect to sit by the pool in September
This is a beautiful hotel and the rooms are really well appointed. Everything looks and smells brand new. The staff could not be nicer. Two big questions. Why would you close down a pool for the season in mid-September when it's warm and sunny? Also, I booked myself on a "Limited Access" Concierge floor (6). I would love someone to explain to me what is so limited access about it? You don't need a key card to get to 6th floor in the elevator nor is their a club lounge. So is the extra room fee just for free internet and bottled water? Really?

Although it was a great stay, the room was very dusty when we arrived and our only problem was the room next to us decided to pull an all nighter. We were next to a presidential suite and there were people coming in and out all night. I guess I should of called the front desk, but I was hoping that they would go to sleep but never did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DougMac Great hotel but poor wifi in rooms
I am a frequent guest at the Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village and unfortunately noticed on this past stay an increasing lack of WiFi in several rooms - I had to be moved three times. I credit David at the front desk who had to run around to multiple room to find one with “full bars”. I implore you to remedy the WiFi situation as even in past stays I have experienced weak signals.

I'M NOT SURE HOW CROWDED THE HOTEL WAS WHEN I STAYED BUT THEY PUT US ON THE SECOND FLOOR NEXT TO THE CONFERENCE ROOMS AND THEIR NEW WORKOUT CENTER. WE HAD ASKED FOR A LATE CHECK OUT AS WAS PART OF OUR PACKAGE BUT LEFT EARLY BECAUSE OF THE NOISE AND WE DID NOT WANT TO SWITCH ROOMS AT THAT TIME.

Rated 4 out of 5 Excellent Service in Restaurant
There are two staff in the restaurant that provided excellent service this week. Rodney and Alberto were quick to serve each of my breakfasts, always got the order right and were attentive if i needed anything during my meal without being distracting. They both have great work attitudes and understand what customer service really means. They would be a great addition to my staff! I look forward to seeing them on my next stay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DLD2013 Warm and gracious staff
The features and amenities of this hotel were very nice. The staff were warm and gracious and always helped with a smile. My only discomfort was at night whenever the room's AC system kicked in, which was frequently. The clicking was load enough to wake me up each time, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep in the the comfortable bed. Other than that, I would stay again at the Westin Princeton at Forrestial Village.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BusinessTraveler Nice hotel, service/maintenance could be improved
-Good location at Forrestal Village, close to restaurants and nearby companies.
-Nice and overall clean hotel.
-Super comfortable beds.
-Great staff at the front desk and for room service, always friendly.
-Convenient shuttle service.
-Many issues with housekeeping, half-cleaning the rooms, not replacing bottles of shampoo etc. 2 weeks ago a housekeeping lady walked in when I was in the shower, and instead of apologizing she complained because I didn't answer when she knocked.
-Maintenance could be improved: some rooms (666, 466...) are in bad shape, cardio equipment of fitness center is clearly not well maintained.
-Limited room service options, and service is slow (45 mins). "Grab and go" breakfast always in short supply.
-Several times, I was given double beds when I specifically booked a king bed.
Overall, I enjoy staying at this hotel but I haven't seen any signs of improvement on those "cons" over the past 2 years.

This is a nice hotel if you're in the region. Good service, rooms are basic, not very large... not many suites. Never have received an upgrade. Restaurant not very exciting but there's a few good options within 2 or 3 minutes.

Spend one night here and overall was pleased. There was a large meeting at the hotel though so it was pretty chaotic when I checked in and noisy at times in the hallways. The room was in good condition and was seemingly recently renovated. I had booked a room rate that included breakfast but what they gave me was a $10 certificate to redeem at a very small coffee stand. No hot items are offered, it's really just coffee and pastries/muffins with nowhere to sit.

The breakfast room service did not arrive; I called and a maintenance person delivered the food about 10 minutes later. The oatmeal was cold with a film on the top as though it had sat for a long time.
This type of service doesn't fit the rest of the hotel, which is excellent and the front desk staff were very pleasant.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years over the holidays, and we love it. The bed is so comfortable, the staff was very helpful. We will continue to stay there over the holidays in the coming years. However, this year, we did not realize that declining the linen and towel service also meant declining housekeeping. We did not like that very much. The housekeepers should still tidy up the room, empty the trash and clean the room, even if you go green. The $5 coupon did not seem worth it. But otherwise, it's a great hotel. The workout room is adequate. The pool is wonderful. It's a very pleasant hotel.

Overall, this is a pretty nice hotel. It has a lovely indoor pool, though as some previous reviews have commented, it did seem murky. The lobby area is pretty but small by Westin standards. The rooms were fine, though the bathroom was in need of renovation, and there was a bit of a musty smell. The front desk staff was very pleasant at check in as was the attendant at the coffee shop.

The staff here tries hard, is very helpful, gracious, kind and is well trained, yet there simply were not enough of them to do the work required. Our room was not cleaned until after 4PM and we had to leave the door ajar because they did not have a pass key. We had a group coming to have drinks in the bar before dinner, but the bartender did not show by 5:20 so we left. The service at breakfast in the restaurant demanded we find our own placesettings and mugs for coffee as there were too few waiters to keep up. This was much the same as last Thanksgiving when we stayed only this year the common areas show even more age with soiled upholstery and cracking vinyl sofas.
This is a good location, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. It just needs more resources in order to redecorate and hire more help.

My stay was overall very good. That being said there are areas for inprovement. I requested a microwave and received one after my second request. However, when I tried to use it the door would not open. I was impressed with the way the hotel responded to storm victims and the way they made accomadations for their pets.
