Staying at different SPG hotels in Asia almost every week and have to say that i was quite surprised of the attitude and service level at checkin and checkout.....which normally is really good at SPG hotels.

Very good facilities and a staff that was attentive.
The only negative is the cost of internet (or they actually charge). If you are paying over 200 USD a night, internet should not be charged.

Location of this hotel is excellent. It offers immediate access to the MRT and Skytrain station. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Food is great. Prices for the rooms are acceptable. Would stay again.

It's a great feeling to walk into the hotel and the staff remember you from the previous stay. They remember how you like your coffee, which seat in the lounge is your favorite. Great service, well done.

It's such a great deal to have full Westin quality for less than 1500 baht a day in great area within Bangkok.
The condition is still in great shape! Definitely a great value and totally recommend it.

My wife and I attended a Wedding Reception at the hotel and booked a room. The Staff and facilities were wonderful. Valet parking was a welcome service after driving in the Bangkok traffic.

Location is good and easy to get to shopping centre/ tourist sites. The bed sheet is fantastic that I never enjoy my dream so nice before it. Only problem is the water tap not very smooth.

This is the second time I stay in Westin BKK. Hotel needs serious refurbishment. It is not very clean or in the top-notch condition like the rest of the Westin Hotel I used to stay at.

Friendly and helpful of staffs.
However, some staffs do need to have more knowledges of places to go and to eat and provide directions accurately and efficiently.

The stay was uneventful, rooms are large and well equipped. Still the place feels a little bit oldfashioned. No "extra" or "wow" that you'd find at a newer place.

The room allocated to me had no view .
This was my first stay and I expected a room with a better view.

Hotel is in very good location, just next to Terminal 21, with lots good food from restaurants and a food court.
Just next to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT.

I am a Starwood frequent user (SPG), and have been utilizing this hotel for approx. 6 years, whilst travelling to Bangkok on both business and leisure. In that time I have seen a decline in standards, noticeable on the last 3 occasions. The rooms and some of the public areas are shabby and often stained or 'marked', to the extent that slippers in the room are a must. The seemingly impressive capsule coffee machine just leaked hot water, close to the electric socket. The shower water does not run away, the toilet and other areas are cracked etc. Simple issues such as the TV ‘power on’ indicate that the room is not checked prior to allocation.
The new 'green' initiative is positive, but when I opted not to have the bed linen changed, I was not aware that would mean the room remained un-cleaned, the bed would not be made / bins emptied etc. The duty manager the following day was professional and offered lunch at the Japanese restaurant; (spectacular sashimi BTW), but whilst I will return to the restaurant, this hotel is off my list - there are plenty of other excellent hotels in Bangkok and at other destinations, that offer better service and facilities.

Only issue is that the pool water is salty... not sure if it has been properly cleaned.
