Rated 1 out of 5 by Hotel did not meet Westin standards Very disappointed in the hotel. We always stay at Westins whenever possible and are always pleased. This location however was less than satisfactory. Lobby was not welcoming, ventilation system was bad, room temperatures hard to control. Location was in a marginal area. May 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel Staff is always friendly Every single member of the staff is friendly, whether it's the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, casino, gift shop, valet, etc. I'm almost always greeted or acknowledged with a smile or "hello" by any employee wherever I am in the hotel. Excellent Spa and just steps from the Strip. 24 hour Starbucks is a bonus and wonderful staff. This will be added to my list for sure! August 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Do you like cold showers? Two of the three mornings, showers were quite cool even with only the hot water on. Even in the desert, not enjoyable to me. Dinner entrée was overcooked, and waiter was MIA, so I only ate part of it and gave up. Banquet lunches were excellent, however. August 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay My wife and I spent a week in the Westin Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa. The location is short walk from the strip and very convenient if you have a car. Traffic is light and parking easy. The rooms on the SPG floor are excellent. We had a great stay. July 1, 2013

They did not even have the new Westin Showerhead. Also how do you have a mini bar and prices listed in the room but not have the mini bar stocked?? May 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Classic, comfortable yet monetarily affordable Always feel a bit pampered at a Westin. Rooms are classically decorated yet very functional. Beds- well they speak volumes - comfort comfort comfort. Weird as it is, I love the bath robe! After a long day, shower and slide into the soft Westin robe August 23, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous SPG VEGAS property. I loved this hotel so much that I canceled my bookings at other non-SPG luxury hotels to extend my stay here. The hotel staff was amazing and upgraded me to an executive suite. Book your stay here and you will be amazed. Its highly recommended. March 3, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A Las Vegas gem An hotel is only as good as it's staff and the staff at the Las Vegas Westin are exemplary. We were in Las Vegas because my aunt was in hospital there for three weeks. The Westin became our home away from home, during a very scary and difficult time. Everyone seemed to know why we were there and often enquired as to how my aunt was getting on, which really meant a lot to the three of us. Marcus and his colleagues, in the restaurant at breakfast, were so kind and nice to us. Our day always started well. Our rooms were very comfortable too which was great. All in all a the Westin was five star and we are now home and my aunt is improving everyday. February 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rooms good, amenities not so nice early check-in request not met. Was not called when room was ready. Food outrageously expense - breakfast buffet $18 !!! Room very nice & clean. Having to pay for Wi-Fi an insult - this should be included as is in all other cities! January 21, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Great rooms but hotel management is another story Stayed there for 1 night while I was on a road trip from Montreal, Canada to Los Angeles. I had a great time, great rooms, very nice beds like in most Westin, close to Las Vegas Blvd but the management it is another story. I wanted to book the same hotel on my way back to Montreal for June 9th so I went on the site and the price was 99$. I ran into trouble with my credit card so I couldn't book it on June 7th. I told myself ok as soon as my card is fix I book it. Went back to book it on June 8th and the price is now up by 199$. I call them to know what is going on. They tell me that it is the way things work that they decided to rise the price. I ask if there is a special event going on and they tell me no that the hotel is almost at full capacity so they decided to rise the price. They are totally stealing from people, these rooms are worth 99$ they are taking the opportunity that the hotel is full to make profits out of customers. The hotel itself is amazing for the price when they don't rise it but after what happened I will never go back to this hotel again. June 8, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Don't breathe as you walk through the lobby The worst, and totally unavoidable, part of the hotel is the "lobby" which isn't a lobby, but a casino, and boy does it stink! When we arrived at the hotel and I walked through the front door I was confused. Had I missed the main entrance? I wasn't looking for their casino. Where was the check-in desk? I kept walking and thought, "What a bummer that to get to the main lobby you have to walk through a grungy casino that smells like an old ash tray that's been sitting in the apartment of an old man that always wears too much colon." I later learned that the way they try to counter the ancient smoke smell is to have small, motion detecting "fragrance" dispensers on a number of the walls in the "lobby" area. I hated coming into and leaving the hotel. The staff were excellent and that helped balance the experience out. But, there were other disssapointments: A number of floors have been renovated, but many haven't, and they're tired and unattractive. A flat screen HD TV, but with no digital HD channels to view?! Bottomline? I found it hard to believe I was at a Westin. September 7, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Big Smoke Trip Overall quality was Westin Standard. The rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Exercise facility is getting worn out and needs updating. Food was very good and the Casino was fair. Will stay there again. November 23, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel needs to be upgraded and needs better housekeeping The hotel is in a good location near the strip but not on it which made it a little easier to access during periods of heavy traffic. This is an older hotel not up to Westin standards. The bathroom had mold growing in the grout and was dirty (dust) in corners of the bathroom. The shower curtain was so long, I walked on it when in the shower. My bedside light was broken. The part where the lightbulb is screwed into the light was almost seared off and hanging by a thread under the lampshade and is probably a fire hazard. Room service was accurate and quick. However, on the last day, the room service waiter accidentally bumped the tray into a wall and a glass of iced tea fell off and shattered all over the carpet. Housekeeping came quickly. They picked up the shattered glass and vacuumed but did not clean the carpet in any other way so it was still wet and full of iced tea. So, cleanliness is a problem in this hotel for multiple reasons. Staff were friendly and helpful except in the Starbucks where they don't do many of the extras that other Starbucks will do like toast a bagel or provide butter instead of cream cheese. Rated 1 out of 5 by A disaster of a hotel In more than 50 years of world wide business travel the THE WESTIN LAS VEGAS HOTEL, CASINO & SPA was one of my worst hotel experiences ever. My first impression as I walked into the hotel was of a smoky, dirty uninviting lobby. Next was being told they had no record of my reservation by the unhelpful reception staff. When I showed them my confirmation they relented and said they might be able to find me a room. One and a half hours later they had a room ready for me. It was bare minimum for a large hotel chain. Noisy and less than comfortable. During my three day stay the housekeeping service appeared only once. When I checked out the reception clerk said she could not provide me with a receipt because their computers were down. I asked when she expected them to be up again she said she didn't know but they had been down for five days and she would email it to me as soon as they were up again. Four days have passed since then without a receipt yet. My business expense report is on hold until the Westin Las Vegas gets there act together. My stay amounted to nothing but a lot of aggravation. NOT RECOMMENDED. October 31, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel is fine in a pinch I was disappointed with my stay. My room was worn. The wall paper coming off of the walls, the toilet paper holder coming away from the wall. My telephone didnt work. I had a hard time getting service from the front desk and I never talked to the same person twice about my needs. Suade told me they were too busy to serve me carry out food on my first challenging night at the hotel. The lobby, casino, bar tenders, waitressing staff, public restrooms, premises, front door peoples, beds, and conference amenities were good. I did enjoy the happy hour one evening. But all in all, I found the room service to be very expensive. The hotel was about 2 blocks from the strip and as a single woman I wouldnt walk there alone. Fortunately, I met some nice people and we ventured out together. Unfortunately, adding salt to my wounds, after recieving my bill and checking out, my credit card was charged extra charges...and Im waiting to have that money credited to my account. I have been to Vegas 4 times and this was my least favorite spot to stay. But the bed was awesome. I just didnt get the customer service that I enjoy on my trips. January 23, 2013
