Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Great View of Downtown, Easily walked every where down town. We went to Denver for a NBA game and walked to the Pepsi Center from hotel and was only about a 10 minute walk. Felt Very safe!! Pool, spa and fitness center were closed. February 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel A very nice hotel in the middle of town , very good service and close to shopping centers. Good parking facilities and the guys outside were very helpfull. Rooms are nice and clean with all inside what is needed. We will come back. September 22, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs Improvement I have stayed at this property numerous times and this visit by far was the worst. Having a profile on file, I was given the incorrect room and had to request to be moved. The new room had a broken television which was not fixed for two days. I called the front desk and the technician came by and said some of the floors were having issues, but that it would be fixed in the morning. The next day the television still did not work. The following evening, I made another inquiry about the television to the front desk. They were unaware of the situtation and again called the technican out. After I became upset, the front desk offered me a $25 credit towards room service. The clerk did not at all seem concerned with the situation, but rather seemed annoyed. I am certain, the clerk would not have offered me any credit, had I not complained for a second time. I was never offered to be switched to a room with a working television. The customer service in this hotel has slipped since my last visit. There are many hotel choices in Denver, and I will definitely look into another hotel for furture visits. February 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice place for a conference This hotel was the perfect place for our conference of 180 participants. Quick room access, good meeting rooms, central lounge, Starbuck's in the lobby, and excellent healthy food! A bit expensive but good conference rates. November 17, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by way too loud i was place next to the service elevator which kept me up all night. April 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to meet We had a 3 day meeting at the hotel and everything was great. In addition every thing I needed for my room and stay was there. The hotel is in walking distance of great places to eat and entertainment. Staff was very helpful. July 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable and convenient hotel My room was on the 13th floor and very comfortable. I had a view of the mountains. The hotel is close to the Rockies baseball park and we walked to a game. The service is very good and I always enjoy staying at this hotel. September 17, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hairy robe Place was generally nice, For some reason there was a stack of extra pillow cases on the bed. I never use the robes - good thing - the one hanging nicely in the bathroom had black hairs all over the shoulders. :-( December 11, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice overall Everything was great with the exception of the room door. I had trouble each and every time getting into my room. For some reason, the electronic key would activate, but the door would not open. Very frustrating. November 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Thank you My request for a better more quiet room was honored. I greatly appreciate that. March 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice stay The staff and facilities were great. The location was super. The only thing that I think that they should look at changing is the $30.00 per night parking fee. I have no problem with a fee but $30.00 is excessive. June 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Volleyball Tournament Hotel was clean and staff were attentive. It was a great pleasure to stay with you after staying at the Las Vegas Hotel in Vegas two weeks ago. It is a pleasure to see a hotel well staffed of knoledgeable people March 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, but there's room for improvement This hotel is close to a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. I was there for a conference, and the food they served for our events was excellent. I am a huge Westin fan and would give this place another try in the future, but it needs some work. First, the pleasant Westin smell that's normally in the lobby was absent when I visited. The air conditioning did not work properly in the meeting rooms and got very hot. The towels in the room were extremely worn, and needed to be replaced. The pool supposedly opened very early in the morning, but the morning that I wanted to swim, the doors to the outside deck were locked. There were no towels. I notified Guest Services, but 30 minutes later there were still no pool towels. I went to the front desk and was told that housekeeping does not arrive until 7 AM. The workout room was OK, but there were no wet wipes to clean the equipment, and there were no headphones. One of the elevators was broken during part of my stay. Even with all of the other problems, however, the room was comfortable and the location was great. I'd go back. August 7, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Service made the experience Service was excellent, and overall my stay was very pleasant. However, like many of your properties, the fitness center is too small and not adequately equipped. Also, your parking fees were too high. July 10, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 Customer service poor Poor customer service at front counter. Did not feel like I was treated with any respect for being a SPG member. Was placed in room that smelled like smoke. Wife looked at poorly for being overweight. March 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Denver Westin great hotel This was the best experience I have ever had at a Westin Hotel -- wonderful staff, and great ameneties! Especially the work out room and the pool. Definitely a great place to stay in downtown Denver. August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location and rooms! I would recommend YOU stay at the Westin Downtown. Great location to 16th Street Mall and the Paramount Theatre was within walking distance. Great breakfast buffet too! We enjoyed our one night stay. February 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel comfort This hotel is terrific, very modern feeling and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. I stayed in five starwood properties this week and this one was the best far and away. Very nice!! December 4, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dirty Room In my closet on the shelf, there was a lot of dust and black stuff that looked like bugs. The hotel is very tired and needs updating. I didn't see a lot of staff and was never asked how things were August 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Westin Denver Downtown A Great place to stay if you want to attend a Bronco game. Concierge recommended a limo co. that took us to/from the stadium at a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Rooms immaculate. September 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only hotel in Denver This is the only hotel I'll stay at in Denver. Get the local amenity if you are a platinum. Great food. Chipotle chicken tacos are great. Unfortunatley the fitness center was under renovation. January 5, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fallen Out of Love With This Property I used to enjoy bringing my family here every few months to get away and enjoy the rooftop pool, hot tub and easy access to downtown. Unfortunately, we've regularly noticed (and reported each time# that the vents in bathrooms #everytime# were chock-full of green/black mold and would inform the front desk. This last stay was no different- same disgusting mold build--up. Additionally, I had called 2 weeks in advance to ENSURE the pool and hottub were open as I had a special weekend planned with my 9 and 6 year old who also loved that property- I was assured no maintenance that weekend and all was open. Guess what- that hottub was closed permanently a while ago. No one said anything on the phone or @ check in. It crushed the kids that our 2 hour drive for hours of swimming outside # that pool is useless in winter months without a hottub) were dashed. I'll use my dollars at other properties in the future as I really think this hotel has become complacent in keeping standards, communication and consistency up to par with your wonderful brand. I'm very sad my love affair with this Westin has ended. November 14, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Parking ins an issue if . . . The room was fine. There was some rough spots due to age or the consideration that this was, most likely, a refurbished hotel. Generally, the room was nice, clean, good TV and comfortable bed. The issue was with parking. I had a Thule on top of my SUV--a medium size SUV and a small Thule. Upon arrival I was told they could not park the car and told and told I had to go 3.5 blocks away because my car was too tall. Prior to my visit, I called to ask about dog rules, valet parking, and adjoing rooms. The hotel did a great job explaining the first request and honoring the adjoining room request. No mention was made of the odd parking situation. Further, the parking down the street was not only inconvenient but also more expensive. Finally, when I brought the car back in the morning to load up, the morning valet said he thought my car would fit. Very annoyed. While I was compensated with some minimal room credit. My preference is always to have things right. Additionally, after stopping by the front desk to have my room bill adjusted for a double internet charge, My recently emailed portfolio did not reflect that adjustment. So generally, nice hotel--but customer service could use improving. March 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel in great location The hotel met all of our needs BUT I find it hard to believe that they still charge $10.95 per day for Wi-Fi connection. After charging over $300 for the room they tack on this fee. TACKY!!! September 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always excellent service and attention Every where you are, employees are kind, warm and welcoming. Located at a great place, close to a beautiful zone full of restaurants and shops, it is perfect for any kind of trip you plan. September 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Denver Westin The Westin Hotel in downtown Denver is beautiful. The service was excellent and the location is perfect... minutes from sports events, shopping, dining. We will definitely stay there again. September 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Water shut off It is unacceptable for the water to be shut off for 12 hours. Staff indicated that the repairs took longer than anticipated, but why would i stay at a hotel without toilet or shower use? September 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disgusted I wished I had not booked through the Westin for my trip in Denver. The room was not cleaned from the previous guest... when I arrived I noticed a white tissue that was stuck to the wall under the desk... Ones mind could only imagine what it was... I called down to the front desk, and they sent house keeping up to remove it. To my surprise a 80 year old Japanese gentleman that could barely move went under the desk and removed it with a smile, this only embarrassed me more... Additionally the hotel reserved an extra $250 on my bill without telling me. Normally this would not have been a problem, but it left me with $9 in my account until it cleared. I asked the front desk why they did this and the guys response was, "I don't know". The only thing good about this hotel was the older gentleman that came upstairs to remove the crusty white tissue... I wish some one would have asked me once how my stay was there so I could tell them to give that man a raise... Honestly I would expect this from a 2 star motel so that is what I will be giving this hotel. I will never recommend anyone stay at this hotel again. November 24, 2013
