This hotel is close to a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. I was there for a conference, and the food they served for our events was excellent. I am a huge Westin fan and would give this place another try in the future, but it needs some work. First, the pleasant Westin smell that's normally in the lobby was absent when I visited. The air conditioning did not work properly in the meeting rooms and got very hot. The towels in the room were extremely worn, and needed to be replaced. The pool supposedly opened very early in the morning, but the morning that I wanted to swim, the doors to the outside deck were locked. There were no towels. I notified Guest Services, but 30 minutes later there were still no pool towels. I went to the front desk and was told that housekeeping does not arrive until 7 AM.
The workout room was OK, but there were no wet wipes to clean the equipment,and there were no headphones.
One of the elevators was broken during part of my stay.
Even with all of the other problems, however, the room was comfortable and the location was great. I'd go back.

I wished I had not booked through the Westin for my trip in Denver. The room was not cleaned from the previous guest... when I arrived I noticed a white tissue that was stuck to the wall under the desk... Ones mind could only imagine what it was... I called down to the front desk, and they sent house keeping up to remove it. To my surprise a 80 year old Japanese gentleman that could barely move went under the desk and removed it with a smile, this only embarrassed me more...
Additionally the hotel reserved an extra $250 on my bill without telling me. Normally this would not have been a problem, but it left me with $9 in my account until it cleared. I asked the front desk why they did this and the guys response was, "I don't know".
The only thing good about this hotel was the older gentleman that came upstairs to remove the crusty white tissue... I wish some one would have asked me once how my stay was there so I could tell them to give that man a raise...
Honestly I would expect this from a 2 star motel so that is what I will be giving this hotel. I will never recommend anyone stay at this hotel again.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a Westin Hotel -- wonderful staff, and great ameneties! Especially the work out room and the pool. Definitely a great place to stay in downtown Denver.

In my closet on the shelf, there was a lot of dust and black stuff that looked like bugs. The hotel is very tired and needs updating. I didn't see a lot of staff and was never asked how things were

Poor customer service at front counter. Did not feel like I was treated with any respect for being a SPG member. Was placed in room that smelled like smoke. Wife looked at poorly for being overweight.

Service was excellent, and overall my stay was very pleasant. However, like many of your properties, the fitness center is too small and not adequately equipped. Also, your parking fees were too high.

A Great place to stay if you want to attend a Bronco game. Concierge recommended a limo co. that took us to/from the stadium at a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly. Rooms immaculate.

I would recommend YOU stay at the Westin Downtown. Great location to 16th Street Mall and the Paramount Theatre was within walking distance. Great breakfast buffet too!
We enjoyed our one night stay.

Every where you are, employees are kind, warm and welcoming. Located at a great place, close to a beautiful zone full of restaurants and shops, it is perfect for any kind of trip you plan.

This is the only hotel I'll stay at in Denver. Get the local amenity if you are a platinum. Great food. Chipotle chicken tacos are great. Unfortunatley the fitness center was under renovation.

It is unacceptable for the water to be shut off for 12 hours. Staff indicated that the repairs took longer than anticipated, but why would i stay at a hotel without toilet or shower use?

I used to enjoy bringing my family here every few months to get away and enjoy the rooftop pool, hot tub and easy access to downtown. Unfortunately, we've regularly noticed (and reported each time# that the vents in bathrooms #everytime# were chock-full of green/black mold and would inform the front desk. This last stay was no different- same disgusting mold build--up. Additionally, I had called 2 weeks in advance to ENSURE the pool and hottub were open as I had a special weekend planned with my 9 and 6 year old who also loved that property- I was assured no maintenance that weekend and all was open. Guess what- that hottub was closed permanently a while ago. No one said anything on the phone or @ check in. It crushed the kids that our 2 hour drive for hours of swimming outside # that pool is useless in winter months without a hottub) were dashed. I'll use my dollars at other properties in the future as I really think this hotel has become complacent in keeping standards, communication and consistency up to par with your wonderful brand. I'm very sad my love affair with this Westin has ended.

The hotel met all of our needs BUT I find it hard to believe that they still charge $10.95 per day for Wi-Fi connection. After charging over $300 for the room they tack on this fee. TACKY!!!

The Westin Hotel in downtown Denver is beautiful. The service was excellent and the location is perfect... minutes from sports events, shopping, dining. We will definitely stay there again.

All of the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. They all seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Might be too pricey for young families judging on prices in restaurants at the hotel.

The lobby of this hotel is cold and disorganized with no amenities. The card key system failed twice and the staff was very slow to respond. Had to call after 4PM to get room made up.

Rated 3 out of 5 Hardly Luxurious! You'll pay more to get less!
I am really disappointed to have used all my points at the hotel. After driving for 12 hours to have a nice weekend at one of your favorite cities, who really wants to be bombarded with all the extra fees at the hotel!! Parking has a fee, internet has a fee (WHO STILL CHARGES FOR INTERNET?? oh SPG hotels!), want to make a local call, well that'll cost ya too. There are two sized water bottles but only the little one is complimentary. When you opt out of getting the towels and bedding changed every day, they didn't tell you that they won't take your trash either, or replace your soap, or even think about replacing the one little complimentary water bottle.
We arrived later in the evening and asked for a crib for our baby and took an hour or more for it to arrive after he was already asleep. The "heavenly crib" is a rickety metal thing, so he just slept with us.
The carpet always had a moist feeling to it and it had a wrinkle in it to trip over going to the bathroom.
I think I'm done with SPG as many of their hotels are like this. I can get a similar room at a better price without all the hassle of FEES!

I took free Wi Fi instead of 250 points to my gold card- it was a terrible experience. I rarely got internet- it was as bad an experience as i have had in any hotel- get it fixed

This past weekend was my cousin's wedding in Colorado Springs. When I found out the Bachelor party was going to be in Denver, I knew the Westin would be a good choice. Even before I arrived, the PBX operator I spoke with was very helpful in adding on a 3rd room when the website would not allow me to book it. Upon arrival, check-in was great and as is usually the case with these kind of events, last minute changes were necessary. Caitlin at the front desk assisted me in booking another room and even kept the same rate, no questions asked. Nicole (overnight) was very helpful when members of the Bachelor party asked for a late check out for obvious reasons. We ended up not needing it, but it was nice to know it was there. As the lone member of the party who works in the industry, my cousin entrusted me to handle the hotel rooms for the party and all members of the group had nothing but great things to say about the hotel and staff. Although I got the credit for the success, it was really due to your accomodating staff! I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and colleagues at my hotel! Thanks again!

The room I stayed in had all the right features. This includes a table next to the door, light in the closet, hooks in the bathroom, magnified mirror and spacious.
