My family and I spent two nights last weekend at this hotel. After arriving at about 5 pm, we left our bags with bell service, checked in and proceeded to our rooms. At check in we confirmed our bags would be brought to the room and that the sofa bed would be made up for our children. After waiting 20 minutes, the baggage did not arrive, so we proceeded to dinner. Upon return to our room at 930pm neither the bags were there, nor was the bed made up. 20 minutes later the bags arrived and 30 minutes later the maid arrived to make the bed. Our kids got to sleep after 1030!! Not cool for 6 and 8 year olds.
The hot tub was dirty and foamy - did not get cleaned or treated for the two days we were there.
The facilities are nice, the location is good, but the front service is very poor.
When I brought this up the next day, the front desk clerk apologized, but did not offer anything other than a promise to look into this. We did not hear anything from anyone after that.

I will start off with the fact that the staff was very professional and the customer service was great. If it was not for the staff I would have left. Otherwise, it seemed the Weston is only out to make money and not provide the quality service that they portrayed on their website. If they could have charged us for air I think they would have. Upon entering my room I found hair all over the bathroom and an inch of dirt on the exhaust vent (I took a picture of it). The bed was very comfortable but the room looked like it had not been refreshed in a while. Dust all over! I was pretty shocked being that the Seattle Weston was recommended to me by so many of my fellow travelers. If you have children make sure that they do not get close to the refridgerator area. The Weston has these "unintentional charges". Well try to explain that to young children. Needless to say it does not go over well. I could go on but I won't waste anymore of my time on this subject. We have been staying at this hotel for the past 5 years, during the Thanksgiving weekend. This year, we were particularly pleased to have a room with a view of the parade, since the weather was less than desirable for our usual outdoor participation! Close to everything and great staff. Highly recommended.

The Westin Seattle is my 1st choice when traveling to Seattle. The staff is great and always willing to help out in any way that they can. The hotel is located within walking distance to many things. I am so happy the rooms have been updated... I now enjoy them even more while taking in the great views.

The Westin saved us and our 11 show dogs when our big dog show rig broke down on the I-5. The Westin's Manager and everyone involved went far beyond and helped us and made our terrible night as comfortable as possible. Thank you Westin, you truly did save us and we are SO greatful!!!

I regret to say that my stay at the Westin Seattle did not meet my expectations as the room was unclean. For $359 a night, the white sheets should not have brown stains on them and the sink should have at least been wiped down. I would not recommend this hotel to stay in Seattle

Room was superb -heavenly bed and views of water Very nice! Service was above and beyond -asked for a vase as I had bought some flowers at the market and requested a bathrobe. .Sent up with friendly staff. Best hotel I have stayed at in Seattle. Would definitely stay again.

I only stayed here for 2 hours the staff were helpful in changing the dates for me. I left unexpectedly so I did not get to really enjoy the hotel.
But a few things it is right in the heart of Seattle close to everything and next time I go Seattle I will stay at this hotel.

This was my second Thanksgiving weekend at the Westin Seattle and once again it was a very comfortable, hassle free weekend.
Your concierge Judy was very helpful and made an excellent restaurant recommendation for us!
We'll be back next year!

We received a wonderful upgrade as a SPG Platinum member. Our family had a great time in Seattle, the location is perfect for eating out and strolling around downtown. The kids enjoyed the pool. Seattle museams are worth it and there is superb golf not far away.

We have stayed at the Westin Seattle three times in the last two years prior to a cruise. Twice have been with grandchildren. Lee Gojmerac has been a wonderful person who has helped us with getting a room that will accompany 4 people while having a wonderful few of the Space Needle.

I highly recommend waiting for a deal and upgrading your room to one of the top floors the view is unbelievable. From my bed I could see the space needle, the sound and the skyline. Clearly an enjoyable get-a-way or relaxing stay.
I'll be back for sure

The hotel and staff were great. They went out of there way to make our stay easy, They even set up dinner reservation in town twice set up free transportation and both time they paid for the appetizers. one of the best Westin's I have ever stayed at.

The staff was prompt and friendly. We were allowed to check in 3 hours early. The room and view were outstanding. We were on the 29th floor so we did not expect to hear sirens all night long. But the bed was comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our suite of two rooms was the prefect setting for travelling with mixed generations. Our view was spectacular. Our location was centered so we could walk while easy parking made for less worries.

Many trips to Seattle for a weekend get away or a Pro game. Decided to stay in central downtown area to avoid driving. Best location for an easy walk to go shopping, site seeing, and restaurants.

accommodating. Julia, the waitress in the Relish Bistro is outstanding. The beds are the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever been in.. I had an excellent experience.

I was amazed at the spaciousness of the hotel room, the comfort of the bed and linens, the delightful scents of the bathroom toiletries and impressed with the fitness equipment. All in all, I would definately stay here again!

Starting with some difficulties with my initial reservation and rooms for 3 consecutive nights, I needed accomodations for late night arrival. Too late to correct the problem until morning, I settled the second day in the correct room. More than minor annoyances when one pays the big bucks for this property: old furnishings and facility---there were awful stains in each room's couch and chairs, obvious marginally done makeshift repairs to the walls, lights that needed replacement bulbs, unclean toilet seat lids with muck that was not cleaned by housekeeping over my stay, charges for internet use, elevators that made noises at certain floor levels, etc. The price for valet parking is exorbitant (although the attendants were by far the most friendly and efficient of staff encountered) and one would do better to use nearby off site facilities. Other staff was great when contacted via phone guest services but in person at the desk, were far less friendly or helpful. The place needs to be physically and functionally upgraded to match the location and cost for stay.

Easy walking distance to most sites we were interested in. Great mid-week holiday for us. Staff very accommodating for added perks. Staff directed us to great local restaurants (outside of hotel options).

Was surprised that there was no concierege room for Platinum Members, no real restuarant for breakfest, was forced to eat in the lobby bar, no menu, two bowls of oatmeal, coffee and juice was approx $60.

This is WAY Better than W hotel if you are staying in Seattle. Although the category is one step lower than W, the quality is category 10!! Also the tallest hotel in Seattle Downtown among all hotels

Another person with same first name and same first initial of last name was incorrectly checked into my room before I arrived under my credit card and billing address. After 30 minutes of waiting at checkin, I was assured that the problem was corrected and went to my room. I called down for evening room service and found out that the name on my room and the credit card assigned to my room was the other person's. After another 15 minutes on the phone with the front desk supervisor, I was assured the problem was corrected. My room rate included a full american breakfast. I substituted an omlet for the eggs, bacon and hash browns included in the full American breakfast. Without being adivsed, I was charged approximately $29 for the omlet and credited $7 for the american breakfast. On the room receit placed under the door that morning both my credit card and the other person's credit card number were still listed. The room I was placed in was not upgraded (Plantinum). Overall, the stay did not meet my expectaions and was the most disappointing I have had with Starwood in the past couple of years.

Hotel was great everyone very helpful. Concierge was very helpful with restaurants and getting service from Hotel to port. Only problem was he gave us a card stating the charge for ten people would be 9.00 per person or 90.00 for the 10 of us. When we got to port they demanded 140.00 . Not a good deal but we had no choice. Reported this to Concierge Louise when we returned to our hotel after cruise to only be told several different stories about charge then they wanted 120 for 6 people to airport . I went and talked to bell hop and got transportation for 80.00

Nice business oriented hotel in downtown seattle. Pool and workout room are good, with outdoor lounge area for when the weather is nice. Got an okay upgrade as a platinum, to a higher floor but not a higher room category. Room was comfortable with average bathroom. Other parts of the platinum recognition were not so good. Special check in line for platinums took forever because the desk clerk was flirting and trying to sell the two young guys ahead of me on signing up for SPG program. When they agreed she had them fill out all the details right there instead of moving them aside to check me in. Not impressive! Requested WSJ and was told that they had limited quantities, so it might not appear at my door the next morning. I thought that odd, since it seems platinum guests would be a priority. The next morning, no newspaper, so I called and it was delivered to my door within a few minutes. Also, only one bottle of complimentary water. Front desk manager told me two bottles of water were only in rooms on the starwood preferred guest floors. Guess I hadn't been placed on that floor - don't know why.
