Our time at the Westin Dublin was a superb experience. The staff was totally accommodating to our every request. There were a total of seven Mohens in three rooms along on this trip. I expect you'll receive the same comments from them. We had a wonderful time, "Thanksgiving in Ireland"

Rated 5 out of 5 by myfirstnoelle Most comfortable bed / room ever !
we chose The Westin primarily for its location as we wanted to do as much sightseeing as was possible in the limited time available to us and it did not dissappoint. We were virtually on the doorstep of Trinity College (Book of Kells / Long Library a must see) and both the National Gallery and History Musuem - Temple Bar just across the street. But what was most enjoyable and unexpected was the sheer luxury and comfort of our bed it truly deserves the title of heavenly. Also the hotel staff were the nicest and most helpful encountered yet on our travels and the valet service was a lovely and very useful touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martha2012 Great hotel with a wonderful location
I stayed at the Westin Dublin the first week of November 2012 because my company had two different conferences scheduled there. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the bed was comfortable, the room very clean, and the food was great. I particularly liked the fish and chips I had in The Mint, and the Guinness. On Friday night The Mint had great dance music (recorded), and the place was packed with people having a good time, including me, and I never go to bars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Rogerd Disasapointing experience
Our overall experience was acceptable, however a couple of thing let the hotel down badly.
1. Our room (203) was booked as as queen and we also booked a twin for our kids (205). The kids room was significantly larger than our room and we flt a bit hard done by.
2. We settled into the Exchange bar for predinner cocktails and waited apporxiately 10 minutes for recognition. When we ordered cocktails that were not on the list we were told that this was not a problem. It evidently was as the cocktails took a further 15 minutes to arrive. The price also wasnt a problem as 2 cocktails, 3 mixed drinks and a soft drink came to €70 plus tip.
3. Our bathroom in 203 had no visable source of heat and was constantly cold. There was evidence of damp and condensation damage on the roof which verifies the lack ot temperature.
4. We had room service breakfast on our 1st morning which was excellent. We went down for breakfast the second morning to the Exchange restaurant and had to wait for 15 minutes for a table as the dining room was plainly too small for the number of rooms. Whilst the food was excellent, the staff seemed totally unprepared for the number of people wishing to dine. Buffet ran out of items quickly, had to ask for Juice and Tea several times, and a 5 star hotel putting a commercial toaster out for guests to do thier own toast is below my expectations.

I stayed in The Westin Dublin with my family, I was concerned that styaing with children might be difficult I didnt need to be worried. We were looked after so well from check in, to dining in The Exchange, to yummy hot chocolate in The Atrium, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff in The Westin Dublin thanks!

Rated 3 out of 5 by sometimes Wired and Wireless internet are super fast!
I almost didn't pick this hotel because WIFI is so unpredictable, and the hotel only mentions WIFI internet. I prefer a solid ethernet connection, so I almost chose the competition down the street, but decided to stick with Westin because of my SPG points account. Surprisingly, when I arrived in the room, there WAS an ethernet connection after all. I do not know why this wouldn't be ADVERTISED because its a big PLUS!
The housekeeping staff are extremely helpful and friendly!
The location is very convenient!
The room overlooked the indoor lobby. There was no view of outside.
The bed did not seem like it was a Heavenly Bed at all (either it wasn't or it needed replaced).
The bellman was supposed to find a taxi driver for us who knew how to get to a local establishment, but instead the bellman forgot and left our luggage in the lobby. So, we came down, found our luggage sitting in the lobby, brought our luggage to the curb, found a taxi driver who insisted he knew where he was going, and then he took us to the wrong place. Two rides later, we started our road trip way behind schedule.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at the Westin Dublin in October, 2012. Our room was spacious and spotless and we looked out at Trinity College. The location was perfect for walking to all the sights of Dublin, which is a fantastic city! We would definitely stay at the Westin on our next visit.

The location is excellent. As a platnium member we were upgraded to a large junior suite. We had a baggage issue with the airline and the front desk was great about helping us with it. The breakfast was excellent - lots of selection.

Rated 4 out of 5 Phenomenal Hotel with one minor exception
What a great hotel in an even better location! You are steps away from Temple Bar and all it has to offer for tourists. You are also close to most anything you might need or want to see while there.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The on duty manager even arranged for our friends who were joining us to get a very early check in....0800 hrs.
The doorman, Peter, was very friendly and greeted us with a smile each and every time we entered or left the hotel.
The food at the Exchange Restaurant was very good and reasonable priced.
The only issue occurred when we noticed there was what seemed to be a small amount of mold on the ceiling over the shower and along the grouting. We reported it. They offered to move us but who wants to pack up and move after being there for 3 days. It took a total of 3 calls to finally get it fixed and it was done right.
They did offer 250 points for the "inconvenience" we suffered which I thought was a bit of a joke.
I would stay here again and recommend it very highly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SteveJ Thoroughly Pleased With Our Stay
My wife and I stayed at the Westin for our first visit to Dublin. Got off to a little rocky start when I called the operator to let her know we'd be arriving late in the evening. She assured me that would be no problem (it wasn't) but she didn't ask our name, so I was a little nervous. However, the check-in and all the service thereafter was all great -- the clerk walked us over to the elevators -- and we loved our room (328 -- nice and big though not a great view). Only complaint is breakfast was a little pricey, even by hotel standards, but again the great room, friendly staff and good service made it a delightful stay. Would recommend. ( The reading lights on the bed headboad are a great idea, too).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Troikee1 Not quite Westin Standard sadly
We love The Westin Hotels. We stayed one night at the Westin Dublin. The main hotel is gorgeous, facilities great just as you would expect. Sadly the rooms are small, beds are small but very comfy , decor in bedroom classy. We were informed that the bedroom we had on the 5th floor had been renovated. The bathroom at a quick glance looked lovely, loved the taps and large shower head. Sadly the bathroom was very poor, we didn't actually want to have a shower because of it. The grout in between the tiles was dirty - mold/mildew? There was paint cracking off in a couple of places on the ceiling, fingermarks on the door. I'm not normally someone to complain but sadly the bathroom was below par.

No full time doorman. He is there only a day or two a week! Amazing for a serious hotel.
No turn down service even after numerous calls. Rooms are made late. Food is terrible. Got paper only once after repeated reminders.
