Had trouble logging into my account on the web and called instead. Got a great rate plus they re-instated my gold level plus gave me a $75 dinner credit (gift card) plus half-off parking. Great deal and had a great time.

Whenever I can, I stay at this property. The proximity to restaurants and shops makes it great for customer entertaining. The hotel itself is great and I love breakfast at Pino Provence. They have the best croissants.

Overall stay was good except all 4 of our rooms were extremely hot. The air conditioning felt like a swamp cooler. It took 4 hours to get the room to 78 degrees. Went down to the bar to wait for the room to cool down.

I was amazed at how nice and attentive the staff was. My fiancé and I plan on only staying at Westin hotels from now on. I was so pleased with the service!

The room was extremely warm so i set the thermostat to 65. While i slept or didn't sleep the air/heater went off all night makeing a very loud roar each time it went on. OMG! A terrible nights sleep.

This is my second time staying in this hotel and i am very happy with all stays at this hotel. Front desk agent super helful and friendly. Room service was on time and frienly, housekeeping ladies were very helpful.

My family & I just stayed here this past weekend. I made reservations MONTHS ago. It was for two queen beds. I got a king and a rollaway. I was told my room was given to the dance teams that was competing there.

It's such a turn off to be nickled and dimes for everything. Almost $30.00 to park! Really?!
And being charged for the Internet?
Also, your restaurant was not open for dinner. It looked like a really good menu.

Westin is famous for comfortable beds and linens. The fitness center is exceptional also. This location allows one to walk to many nice restaurants. The one area where it is not competitive is in WiFi charges.

Didn't have time to enjoy the amenities--too busy. But would love to return to do so.
Bed was super comfortable.
Caroma toilet was impressive (water conserving).
Didn't get to use pool/fitness center, but wow!

Love the beds, extremely comfortable.
I could not wait to get in bed - slept like a baby.
I also stayed in the shower for 30 minutes - the overhead shower head was oh............... so relaxing...........

when I came to the room, bed making was not completed.
No shampoo or conditioner was there

Never mind the fact that the parking is located in a separate structure 500 or so feet away. 3 things occurred during my stay which frankly surprised me for a Starwood hotel.
1. Hot water was inconsistent (~10pm). Enough so that I eventually just had to cut my bath short.
2. The movie I ordered (Elysium) stopped playing all of a sudden and when I called the front desk they said they'd credit the $ back and send someone up to take a look. 15 mins later and still no one has arrived. I eventually got the movie started again and when I check out the next day the front desk discovers that the charge is still in fact on my bill and proceeds to remove it "again".
3. The hvac unit was so noisy that I had to turn it off just to be able to sleep. I was told later by the front desk that the hotel was a retrofit of an old building and there was still work to be done. She added that this is a common complaint for this location.
I like to think of myself as open minded and usually pretty easy going but these events made for a stay chock full of interruptions. I hope they improve upon these things.

Overall, the experience was pretty good. However, the fan in our room (518) was too loud and we could not keep in on during the night. It was a warm night but we could not turn the fan on due to the noise.

The hotel was just steps away from the theater where we were planning to see Wicked. We wouldn't have known to walk except that very friendly and helpful valet staff suggested it and gave directions.

The lobby and staff are great, but the rooms are a little run-down with gaps in the tile and the wallpaper coming off a bit. Overall the hotel is fine, just the rooms probably need a little upgrade.

Everything was great excerpt out room was not cleaned on Saturday. When we asked directions to knotts berry farm we were told to look for knotts road. Directions were incorrect its on beach blvd.

I did not have AC for the first 2 nights of my 3 night stay. The beds were nice but having to wet down a towel to drape over me so that I could catch some sleep was a terrible experience for me.

The hotel had an excellent staff and the facilities were also excellent. I would recommend this hotel for those reasons as well as its proximity to the airport, shopping, restaurants, and beach.

This hotel is in the best locarion for business and pleasure in Orange County. Everything from restaurants, shopping and entertainment are close by. Including John Wayne Airport (Santa Anna).

1. valve in tub/shower to switch to shower doesn't work well. Water still running into tub.
2. Lack of bell people @ check out time.Had to bring down own luggage as couldn't wait for them.

Special bonus was the theater and orchestra hall within walking distance.
