Rated 4 out of 5 by evrywomn Self Parking vs Valet Parking
I was disappointed to know that in spite of the fact that parking costs $16/daily it left so much to be desired. Still had to deal with major puddles when it rained and if not prepared for the rain, getting drenched is something to 'look forward to'. I thought it was kind of trying to force you to valet park. The valets were mostly polite, but when I (a woman) was leaving it seemed that because I did the self-parking I also had to do the self lifting of luggage to my vehicle. I was quite prepared to tip too.

OK, I get that this hotel is mainly for tourists and non frequent travelers because of it's location to Disney.
Rooms were fine. Facilities are immaculate. Most of the staff is friendly and smiling. Front Desk is UNORGANIZED and slow. Need to have more staff as only 3 team members up front to help a line of 15. SPG line unmarked and in a bad location.
Oh and forget a late check-out, even for us Platinum Members. Did not offer any options, just a no.
Will come here again only because my children loved Disney.

Rated 3 out of 5 by svanz Not great Disney or SPG experience
The wait to be acknowledged by the front desk staff was unacceptable especially given that a number of staff members walked by while we were waiting in the Gold/Platinum line. The bell man would not deliver luggage to our room while we were at the park which was requested since our room was not ready when we checked in so we had to wait for the bell man when we returned from the park which was not ideal and not superior service. The Murphy bed in the parlor which was a SPG upgrade was not made when we got into the room so we could not use. At the pool there was only one server at noon on a Sunday and it took him 2 hours to make it around to us since he was so busy. Overall very disappointing for a SPG property so close to Disney - I was expecting to be taken care of and wow'd.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma Great hotel choice
We stayed at the Swan on the recommendation of Son and Daugter-in-law. It was a great location for Disneyworld. Transportation to the park is great. (especially with a big stoller). We were treated well, and accomodated in every request. We had adjoining rooms which worked well. Only surprise was that drinks (soda, coffee) were not included in the dinner buffet. (In the park it is at the buffets). Meal was better than those we ate in the park, but surprised at extra cost..
Would definitely stay here again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by GlobalgalRealtor Didn't hit the mark
We stay at the hotel regularly, and are typically very satisfied. With that said, this visit let us down. The housekeeping staff totally missed our room on day 2 of our 3 day stay, and we were given incorrect information about the extra-magic hours at the park. We also were to receive an upgraded room to a Resort view. Being that we were on the 4th floor, our "resort view" was of the trees outside the hotel. We booked as part of the "trick or great" promotion, and certainly felt more tricked than treated.

For a home-away-from-home stay, The Swan made our time at Disney wonderful. Best service was the Pantry Program. Plenty of bottled water & snacks at a great price. The Todd English BlueZoo was amazing so we ate there twice! The only thing I missed was flavored creamer for my coffee. I searched high and low and only found regular liquid creamer at Peek-a-boo. Hotel was quiet, pools were nice & transportation to & from parks were great. Kids loved the boat taxi best! I wish I could go back next week!

The location of this hotel was excellent - quick access to all parks, Epcot in particular. An easy stroll to the Boardwalk and lots of opportunities for recreation on the property itself. This hotel, however, did not rise to the level we have come to expect from a Starwood property. Although the resort fee was comped because of our membership, the in-room wifi did not work and the IT help desk told us the signal was too weak for IPads -- if I crouched by the front door of the room - we could get one bar. However, crouching on the floor was not a good idea because the carpet was in need of a deep cleaning -- it should not feel sticky or wet. The rest of the room was very clean and we appreciated having a refrigerator. Overall, because of the location, we would recommend the hotel to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kataca Not a Disney hotel
The bellman on check in was great along with the young lady that checked us in, from there, I was surprised on the lack of customer experience and the quality of the room. We had to request coffee and when delivered the maid was not pleased. The room smelled musty and damp, it did not meet my expectations of a Starwood or Disney hotel. If we had known, we would have driven 2 hours home. Not to mention we paid for wireless for the room and it would only stay connected.

Staff was pleasant but not enough of them. Room smelled moldy, the AC was frigid only, no way to control. Room did not get made up once until we called. The food was mediocre. the decoration is tacky. Overall way overpriced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rozy We Loved Our Stay At The Swan
Everything about The Swan made our Disney World vacation special. Our Starwood card resulted in a room upgrade from basic to resort with a balcony! The view was beautiful. We were very happy with the queen sized Heavenly Beds, internet in our room, and water bottles delivered every day. Room Service was always prompt and the food was kept in a little portable warmer on its way to our room. Check in and check out was easy. Our only disappointment was the awful music played at the pool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blackwood Another fantastic stay
We love this property and keep coming back. Our last most recent stay was an extended one - to celebrate our kids' fourth birthdays. Again, we found the location, facilities and service to be perfect for our needs. We pretty well walked every where we wanted to go, except for buses to MK and AK. Great onsite restaurants, and all our dealings with the property were smooth and very well handled. All in all, another great stay, and we are looking forward to coming back again in the fall.

Stayed there recently; common areas need improvement. Bed is very uncomfortable and definitely does not provide for a magical sleep. The room smells damp and moldy. Very unpleasant room experience overall!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was really very accomodating especially with our schedule and we can't say enough about them. We also LOVED Picabu! The breakfasts there were wonderful and the wait staff was very friendly! The staff kept the dining area very clean. The tables were bused and cleaned immediately.
Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rated 1 out of 5 by PatrickArizona Hotel needs a complete remodel
Stayed at the Disney Swan for 5 nights, as my husband was attending a conference at the hotel. First, let me say the staff is excellent & very attentive. Beyond that this resort is very disappointing. The outside of the building looks very interesting but once you pass through the revolving doors, it's feel like you have been transported back to the 80's & not in a good way! The entire interior looks worn, dated & is screaming to be remodeled. Once, we arrived in our room, I couldn't believe my eyes & kept asking myself "Is this really a Westin hotel?". The only thing in the room that looked new was the beds (and they were the comfortable Westin beds), everything else was worn & tired looking. We had a balcony on our room, which the paint was peeling & appeared to have green mold growing on it, along with balconies on the rooms next to ours. As for plugs, forget trying to charge your electronics. The lamp had a plug that was occupied by the alarm clock. There where 2 other plugs (one on the floor by the balcony door (didn't work) bathroom next to sink (who wants their iPad & laptop next to the sink?)). Housekeeping did a good job but the fact that the room looked so old & worn, made it feel not clean. We tried calling guest services, but every time they answered, the phone disconnect. Stopped at desk to tell them & was informed that has been an issue for a few weeks. The friendly desk clerk did assist us. The phone never did work to call guest services during our stay.
You are charged a daily resort fee which covers Internet & the workout center. Why? I'm a high level SPG preferred member & get free internet at any other property. Why do I have to pay for the work out center, when I didn't have time to use it. If you rent a car that's another charge to park (should be included in the resort fee).
As for the restaurants they are enjoyable & the food tasty, except the Garden Grove, very sad food. Our waitress Shirley was great! During the day forget getting a drink at the bar, as none of them open until late afternoon, even the coffee shop closed after breakfast. :-(
The only thing this resort has going for it, is it's staff!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Houstonian385 Not quite up to SPGs normal high standards.
When I stay at an SPG hotel, especially a Westin, I expect a certain level of quality. This hotel is in need of renovation. My room smelled funny when I entered it and the bath tub did not drain properly. I did eat in two of the restaurants and the food and wait staff in the restaurants were great. With so many great hotels on Disney property that you have to bring your A game every day. The only reason I will stay here in the future, is if there is a conference I have to attend.

I know its florida but it was like walking into a moldy smelling sauna everytime we went back to our room. It didnt help that the exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. It took about 2 hours for tbe mirror to unfog after a shower. And speaking of showers... you stand in inches of water because it drained so slow. We were only around long enough to sleep so we dealt with it. Other than that the staff was very friendly and it is in a great location on the wdw grounds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tess1009 Enjoyed our Stay
The hotel was lovely and convenient to EPCOT. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying at the Swan on another visit.
Our complaints were few, but we had room issues with inoperable lamps, outlets, broken towel ring--all admittedly minor. Despite making the staff aware of the issues, nothing was repaired while we were in house. We did make a point to mention the disrepair on our departure day.
The only other complaint would be the WiFi--it was practically nonexistent. Periodically we would receive a connection while in the room or near the Java bar, but otherwise it was ineffective and IT was of no help.
On the bright side, housekeeping was terrific and johnny on the spot when we returned one evening to no towels and wash cloths. Further, the room was nicely cleaned and items replenished.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hornet Very poor housekeeping
The night I checked in I opened up the pull out couch and there was no bedding on it. I called down to get some bedding and it took 2-1/2 hours to get bedding up to the room.
The next day we left the hotel at 7:30am and returned at 5:30 pm and our room hadn't been touched. We went to dinner at 6:30 and I asked at the front desk to have the room cleaned. We returned at 9:00pm and still the room hadn't been touched.
I have never stayed at a Starwood and had such terrible service!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Snapanther Very Disappointed and felt ripped off!
I was very dissappointed to have such limited options to eat for a family of five. The lesser expensive choices, the food quality was extremely poor! The internet fee of $14 per day was a rip off. The wireless connection did not work. I had IPODs Touch, Kindles, an Epad and a laptop none of which would connect. I will not stay at the Swan of Dolphin ever again, regardless of the convenience to the Disney Parks. The are better choices out there for the same or better pricing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Disneysteve 1st time - Very nice
We spent 2 nights here, first time staying here. Very nice hotel. Staff was excellent. Bed was very comfortable though the pillows were not - the kind where you lie on one spot and all of the stuffing pushes to the other end.
Concierge was terrific and helped me get our cooler ice packs frozen overnight for our drive home.
Very convenient to be able to walk into Epcot and to the surrounding hotels.
Main pool is rather far from the hotel.
$15/day to park plus $17/day resort fee needs to be figured into your price - not quite a affordable as it initially sounds.
Had an issue with our AC. Maintenance came but didn't speak English and we were unable to get it resolved though I didn't pursue it beyond that so it's partially on me.
Need more family-friendly, budget-friendly casual dining options. A nice food court or even grab and go cases would be great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Billiam Stayed a week, each day was great.
We stayed from a Sunday through a Saturday and each day was great. The staff, everyone from the desk to the valets to the luggage attendants, was attentive and very polite. Our room had the king bed and sofa so it felt very open. Housekeeping did an excellent job and the room seemed to be very clean (for a hotel room). The hotel decor was, of course, beautiful and the lobby and sitting areas were very comforting. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Carterkrc Disappointing Hotel
From the start this was just a disappointment. The hotel staff were unorganized and uninformed, the two rooms we reserved should have been close, but they reserved rooms four floors apart, had to change rooms the second night. Bugs in the rooms and unclean floors in the bathrooms. Towels and toiletry items were not restocked consistently. Hotel even gave my room key to another member of my conference without my permission or consent. Will never stay in this property again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Laxtraveller Not a Swan song
The stay at the Swan was just ok. Thank goodness I was staying on points. The upgraded room was acceptable. The staff was relatively friendly. Loved the palms between the two hotels at night.
The $2.50 automatic service charge at Picabu self serve restaurant was out of line. The $3.00 fee at the business center to pick up a package is a slap in the face and the horrid sugar cookie smell in the public areas not only aggravated my sinuses, it made me want to run from them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HORD Great property, but front desk staffing needs help
For a large, convention class hotel, the front desk staffing needs improvement. It does not make sense for there to be only two staff members on duty during peak check in and check out times.
I believe that the needs of your guests, especially families and international visitor require a bit more time and attention - which your team clearly offeres - but at the expense of 15-20 minute waits for others.
Consider a more flexible staffing formula for this high demand times

Rated 4 out of 5 by acs9993 Great experience!
Overall, a great experience. They could use a few more front desk cast members during main check-in/check-out times. The cleaning staff were tremendous. The rooms are great! The hallways on the floors could be spruced up a bit. However, this is a truly great resort in the heart of Walt Disney World. The ferry to Hollywood Studios and Epcot is HUGE benefit. The Disney bus stop is convenient as well - you're almost always the first drop off among the "Epcot resorts."
