On Westin website ordered a room with two queens (which appeared avail) and did not notice that it was switched to a King. Not what I wanted with 3 adults. Called and was told could not be changed as it was a non-refundable and non-changeable. Bait and switch is tacky! Does not allow for human error - didn't see it in time?????

We spent 3 days in San Francisco at the Westin. It is the best value and was very impressed by the hotel and staff. We will definitely stay here again. Staff member Freddie took care of us and even upgraded our room to one with a view. The service was very fast. Staying at the Westin definitely completed an excellent vacation in San Francisco.

Let's see: concierge gave me wrong (very local) directions, no room service available until 5.30p (flew in from the east coast and had to work in-room), had to call twice for a room service menu, housekeeping didn't make up my room (which was vacant from 7.30a - 10p at night). Normally Westins are good, and just won't stay in this one again

"We were greeted by laughter and smiles." I wish I could name all the wonderful people who helped us. Sweet Sara at the front desk upgraded us to the best suite ever. The bells man was there when we arrived and left and made sure we were taken care of. Great place, so relaxing, super location. Everyone did more than asked, very kind. :)

Hotel was blah - lobby non-attractive - room service menu left a lot to be desired - view from our room was terrific - in-room services lacking - would not stay at this particular Westin again.

We are frequent guests at the Westin SF. We like the location and appreciate the improvements made to the hotel. This past weekend was our most memorable stay. Room had a great view. Staff, particularly Jennifer and Jonathan, at the front desk were exceptional in assisting us. The housekeepers are pleasant and helpful. Thanks.

This is my favorite hotel in SF - easy access (so close to Market), great views from the rooms, and above all, clean (rooms and lobby), nice spacious rooms, and most of all, amazing customer service. I have never been disappointed.

Even before arriving at the Westin on Market & 3rd, we felt very welcomed. Our early arrival was no problem and we were very well taken cared of. A wonderful accommodation always makes a visit to another place very enjoyable. We will definitely come back and recommend the Westin on Market to our friends and family. Keep up the good work!

Nina the front desk agent was very warm and welcoming for a new trainee. She was personal and instinctive and really made me feel at ease. She was already a natural. Rooms had a fantastic view of downtown. The Westin Brand makes me really proud to work for our company and has made me a loyal customer as well as employee. Thank you!

I stay here once a month for one weeks time. I have two suggestions when it comes to the bathroom. The door open in and the bathroom is small. I would suggest a wall sliding door or a door that opens out. I consistently bruise myself in the bathroom with the door. My other suggestion is put in some nice bathtubs in the nicer rooms.

Fantastic workout facilities on the 4th floor. Great equipment and they even have a ballet bar!
Water, towels, bathroom and plenty of weights and cardio equipment.
There is a lot of perfume used when making up the rooms, so if you're sensitive, you should let them know ahead of time to NOT fill your room with the flowery scent.

I visit SF often and about half the time I go to book this hotel, it's sold out. So, they're doing something right. But I still consider myself a regular guest. Checked-in Easter Sunday night. On the way from the airport, I checked the SPG app and they were selling rooms for $135. $135! Haven't seen it that low before--must have been a pretty quiet Easter night at the property. Imagine my disappointment when I was given their lowest category room on a semi-high floor with a connecting room. Is there anything less I could have been given? Very disappointing treatment of a returning guest, plat. That aside, it's a solid Westin in a great location. Appreciate that they stock their minibars and note my newspaper preference in my profile. Great location--can walk to everything! Bar/restaurant under renovation but you can always walk across the street to the W or the St. Regis. I'll return but still pretty disappointed in their SPG treatment. I'd've expected better.

Utilized a suite award and got a nice 1 bedroom corner suite with a great view of the bay. Furniture was a little worn, but overall the space of the room was great. Bedroom is quite large as well. Hotel is a great location, with lots of food options within just a few feet.

The hotel is excellent. 3 issues:
1. I still have not received an email bill. I need it.
2. The toilets were designed for midgets. I realize that the hotel was originally a Meridien, but they fit my 2-year old grandson, not a normal adult.
3. The charge for Internet access is high. I urge you to offer free Internet access.

Staff was OK as to be expected.
Lobby was under renevation without letting us know.
Shower Pressure was terrible.
Not even a complimentary bottle of water...charged for everything.
Internet was way overpriced at 18.95.
DISASTER. Would not stay here again for the price of this place

Overall great but one of the front desk staff needs an attitude adjustment. It does not matter if you are having a bad day, if I'm checking out at least give me a hello, eye contact, and a smile. Everyone else was pleasant but this guy on check out. He was so cold! I had to bite my tongue so not to make a scene.

This is a well maintained facility with a helpful and friendly staff. I especially want to thank Lydia at the front desk and Toby in Concierge services, for making my sure that I was able to get the most from my short stay. I had stayed for seven days for a business trip and it felt like I was at home, very comfortable and not as noisy as I thought it would be. The room I stayed housekeepers had always been kept nice and clean. Bathroom is kind of small, but clean. Staffs are friendly. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Great room, good service - In room dining steak dinner was very poor, cooked well, but more gristle than meat, so they need to improve their meat purchasing. Everything else was good. Fitness centre was closed for renovations also, not a big deal, but an unconvienence.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel. The location was great for our two visits to the AT&T park as well as many restaurants and Muni stations. The only complaint we have is we requested one day of internet service and were charged for two. We definitely would stay there again.

I appreciated the cleanliness of our room but we found two problems in the bathroom. One was that the bathroom fan was on when we arrived and could not be turned off and secondly the bathtub stopper was broken and would not stay open. For the price of a nights stay I expected more from the Westin.

The Hotel accommodations and staff met all our needs and expectations. And, when the
guests in the adjacent room turned that room into a loud party on New Year's eve, the Security staff, at 2:30AM, responded to our call and made those guests cease their
noisy and rude behavior. We love this hotel!
