Enjoyed our stay at this property. The young man who checked us in, Rusty, was very personable, professional and helpful as were other staff members we encountered. Room was very nice. Excellent location within walking distance of Duval Street and other major attractions. The food was very good in the Bistro. I do wish breakfast was included with room. We would stay here again.

Having made the reservation last December using my SPG points, I had expected everything to be ready upon my 415pm arrival. Not only was my room not ready, but the one they assigned had a roaring a.c. Which they were unable to fix. They only had a two bedroom suite available, which was great, but despite the fact that it was the hotel's maintenance issue that forced the move, they demanded that we pay an additional $150 per night. That was more than just a little inconvenient, it was unforgivable. I will consider this when choosing my next vacation destination before picking a Starwood Property.

The hotel is located close to everything! It is very well maintained.
The staff were all attentive and seemed to enjoy where they work which in turn made our stay very comfortable.

Has deaf devices for the deaf! Very pleasurable vacation! The staff is soooo friendly and nice!! Its a walk way to Duval Street shopping & dining!!! Planning a yearly visit with friends .. Westin in Key West it is!!

My wife and I came here for a two night stay after coming down from the middle keys where we did not have a great experience. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted and upgraded to a suite which went a long way after our unpleasant experience at our last hotel and long drive down. We also arrived around 12:30 and they already had our room ready. The gentleman named Mike at the front desk checked us in and was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Westin Key West.

You cannot beat the location - the sunset view from our room was unbelievable. We also enjoyed a couple of breakfasts which were better than on Duval st. We could walk to the beach, to harborwalk, to Duval - it was great! The pool was beautiful. It could not have been better!

Good points: Weather was bad where were orginally. We decided to go to Key West for better weather. We were able to get a room a couple hours before our arrival and check in early. The room was clean with a beautiful view, The staff was very polite and helpful. Very close to Duval Street. I would go back. Bad Points: No beach, We tried to extend our stay, but they raised our nightly rate over $100 a night and would not except AAA or Government discounts.

One of the best hotel experiences. Staff, restaurants, spa, hotel room had a ceiling fan! The AC was able to go ice cold as I sleep with it cold. Best bed ever. Not to mention the best hotel shower. I have never seen water pressure like that in a hotel. Great job ! I live in Florida and will be back soon!

We love this place. We've stayed here at least 15 times over the past 10 years. The facilities are great, the staff is very professional and the location is unbeatable. You can walk to everything but it's far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. And, Wassili, the bartender, makes the best Mojito's in town.

Excellant service by staff. Room and property were extremely clean and well kept. Location is perect for those who want to see Key West by walking. Had sunset dinner at Lattitudes for our 33rd wedding anniversary...only one word to describe it...Awesome!!

there were 2 large dogs at the pool, and a large dog in the room next door. i was not aware this was a pet friendly hotel. i would be very unhappy to know that a pet had stayed in my room before i arrived. the staff was very noisy in the am when they arrived at work and work us up.

This hotel is beautiful, rooms are great except no table in room. [had to eat on bed] . tried to adjust reservations 10 dys b-4 arrive.[ had better tomorr. package] wanted to add day. by the time they called back they said hotel was booked up. this was a lie. made seperate res. for added day . was charged $50 per day more on 1st res than for added day but stayed in 1 room. was told hotel could not adjust rates.

This was a bucket list vacation for my wife and we had saved up our points for a week stay in Key West. I have stayed at many Westins around the country and have come to really enjoy the heavenly beds and baths and also the consistency from property to property. The Westin Key West does not stand up to the usual expectations. I was very disappointed that we spent a week's vacation from work and all the points in our account for this sub par experience.

Very small dirty and old room. They told me that all beach passes are sold (!!!!), but nobody inform that I have to reserve it in advance. They offer me to go to the sity beach by foot (2 miles). Concierge and manager in reception were very impolite and rude.
I decided to move and check out at 15.30 after only 1 night but they charge me 2 complime nights.
Fantastic low service. Never return there

I had another great stay at the Westin Key West. The room was spotless. The bed is the best. I wish I could sleep this well at home. I normally avoid hotel restaurants. With waiters like Carl, who always ensure your meal is perfect, it is one of the best places to eat high end meals in Key West.

Stayed at the Westin Key West for a few days earlier this week for a getaway with my boyfriend. Very easy to find and the whole arrival and check-in process couldn't have gone smoother. Valet met us at our car, offered help with the bags and gave us options for self and valet parking (for the $2 difference we went with valet for the convenience).
We walked right in to the lobby and were greeted by Al who was extremely helpful and got us checked in early, put us on the Starwood Preferred floor and directed us towards our room. We had some questions for Al about the possibility of going out to Sunset Key for dinner at Latitudes and he explained the process to get reservations and suggested the best times to try for to ensure we had a front row seat for sunset. We walked over to our room and were pleased with the overall appearance and cleanliness of the room. After unpacking and changing we decided to walk around but wanted to stop by the lobby again and talk to Al about making reservations for Latitudes. When we walked in the lobby another attendant was there and she told us to use the phone around the corner to try and call for reservations. However, Al appeared a minute later and immediately picked up the phone behind the desk and called three different numbers in an attempt to try and arrange something for us. When he was unable to reach anyone at those numbers he took my boyfriend's cell number and said he would continue to try and get a hold of someone but didn't want to hold us up and would get in touch once he did. Within ten minutes we had a call from Al with three different options for reservation times and directions on how to get there.
The hotel facilities and location were great, right on the water, beautiful sunset view from the 2nd floor Sunset Deck in the Main building. But it was truly the exceptional service that made this hotel stand out to us. I would definitely recommend it and if you go, ask for Al at the front desk.

What an experience, absolutely outstanding in every respect. How this Westin can train their staff (from bottom to top) to be perfect is quite an accomplishment. No short cuts from any staff member. Thank you Westin for a wonderful stay.

Our room was on the 1st floor almost directly across from what appeared to be the staff lounges. There were people constantly in the hallway, and the door slams and hallway chatter lasted all day and night. We were awakened everyday by constant noise of staff (housekeeping and resort staff) outside of our room talking very loudly. Our stay could have been 100x better if the staff lounge area was not near our room. We enjoyed the close proximity to Duval Street, loved the pool areas and both dining on the upper and lower patios especially at sunset!! we got engaged during our visit so this property will always have a special place in our hearts. If we ever come back to this property we will definitely request a room on a higher floor!!!

I know that I am a S. Floridian, but still expected the pool would be heated. Several people were sitting around the pool, but no one was swimming. Some people that attempted to go in only made it to their knees.

We live in paradise and have so many beautiful places to visit but, Key West is our hide away. We have stayed at this hotel 2 other times and love, love, love it. From the second we drive on to the property we feel like we're in another world. As soon as you enter the suite you feel pampered. The room smells fresh and the linens feel so good. The staff is always so helpful. We love it so much that we have just booked our next get away for this July. This time we're bringing our kids and grandson.
