Rated 3 out of 5 by A lot of small problems tainted our experience Overall, we were disappointed. We had an accumulation of minor problems that never got resolved or aknowledged. Yet we still paid for the whole thing. First, Wi-Fi didn't work the first 2 days of our stay. Extremely annoying when you rely on it and are charged for it. This is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. And finding free, reliable Wi-Fi in Vegas was impossible. Second, there was a leak from the bathroom to the bedroom. I noticed the wet carpet right away but thought housekeeping must have shampooed the carpet. The next couple days it got worse and worse. Everytime I would step out of bed, I would walk on wet carpet. We let the staff know, they sent someone to look at it and we never got any follow-up. In the hotel brochure, it says you're supposed to get 1 free bottle of water per guest every morning. We only got one. They do have free bottles at the reception though. We knew because we asked. We ate at the Suede restaurant one night and the staff was not friendly at all. It was after 10pm and we felt like we were disturbing them (we only ordered 1 dish each, same one, nothing crazy). The morning staff at Suede was extremely nice though. I forgot my phone charger in the bedroom. I called Lost and Found/Security when I realized. I was basically told I was out of luck. If no one brings it back, my loss. They never tried to do more than that. This really disappointed me and I am glad I didn't forget something more important like medication or work documents. The Spa staff was really nice and helpful as well as the concierge. They are patient and eager to work something with you. March 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor construction and room availability The rooms were th most noisy I have ever had while staying at a Westin. The walls were paper thin as well as the above and below noise. It was not the quality construction associated with the SPG chain. The halls had multiple level changes. In addition, there were only small rooms available, there was a lack of suites and comforts associated with a Westin. The staff were great, all levels of staff were engaging and professional. Rated 4 out of 5 by Holiday Stay Bellman Ivan was overheard by my husband on the driveway using profanity while talking to co-workers, very unprofessional! Housekeeping was inconsistent with amenities each day. Had to call for coffee cups since it was not replenished one day. Foul sewer like odor on the 12th floor hallway upon check-in. Dinner on first night at Suede restaurant took so long. Never dined again due to this. Nightly reception & hot chocolate was a nice touch! December 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable stay just off the Las Vegas strip Our room was small but very comfortable for two people. All hotel personnel we had contact with were extremely pleasant and the call to the room after check-in to make sure all our needs were met was appreciated. Nice amenities and clean room. Turn-down service was a nice plus. Room furnishings could use updating but again met our needs. Lunch at Suede restaurant was very good, but service was pretty slow for mid afternoon on a week day. Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel, but tough location This was our first time to Vegas- this time to enjoy a concert pre NYE. We had good service, but there were a few downsides to location including taxi to airport and distance to the strip. Very friendly staff even though we were disappointed to not get a suite upgrade with plat status or with suite night awards. The gym as unfortunatley not kept up well- broken machines and not kept clean. Overall- it was worth the good rate we recieved. December 31, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Value & Location This hotel is good for the value, if you want a place to get a good nights sleep this is it. Not to far from the strip this location is great. The 42' TV, Spa and the extended pool hours are all pluses. But the small casino, weak drinks and average food from their 0 star restaurant were below average. Most of the staff there are very friendly and helpful, but they need to work on their problem solving skills for better customer service. June 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel staff From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were celebrities. Everyone on staff was extremely helpful and nice. "M", at the front desk, answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make our quick stay in Vegas the best it could be. The restaurant had such delicious food, we ate dinner there and ordered rooms service from there the next day for lunch. I would definitely recommend the Westin, Las Vegas to anyone. June 10, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Staff is excellent Although it is a non-smoking "hotel" the "casino" allows smoking - somewhat disappointing. The lounge area is minimal, no complimentary coffee in the lounge area although there is a starbucks and coffee in the room. Refrigerator did not work and we had to discard all of our refrigerated items. They do provide complimentary bottled water. The price is variable and makes the hotel attractive - it's a room. Not much of a pool area. October 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A small hotel in Vega The Casurina is a small hotel for Vegas. That is why it the place to stay. There is no long trek through the casino to check in or to find your room. The rooms are clean, well maintained and stocked with free water and Starbucks coffee.A daily get-together with drinks, gratis, is a welcome, enjoyable feature. The casino is small but with the same games as the big casinos. All this, and it is just a very short distance from the Strip. March 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by STRIP HOTEL Although this property is tired from all the traffic, the staff makes up for any lack in accommodations. Perhaps a more aggressive refurbishing program would be appreciated. It is the only Las Vegas Strip location of all SPG properties. I am a life platinium member. Would I recommend this property? If you want to be on the strip - no choice.. Would I love to see another SPG on the strip - YES. Restaurant is small, so expect crowds. February 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Westin Causarina Las Vegas The hotel staff greeted us on arrival, escorted us to the check in desk and got us to our room in no time. The room was ready early, neat and clean, and very comfortable. I really liked the buffet in the morning and I don't think I had ever seen a buffet that gave to go boxes for those who were using the exercise facilities. While the casino is small it made for a pretty intimate and quiet setting. All in all an excellent stay. June 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A quiet retreat from the noisy Strip A welcome low stress hotel. Very accommodating. A couple of minor glitches. Room clock 3 hrs off and couldn't be re-set, bathroom light took a search until found (behind magnifying mirror). Lovely staff and concierge. Much less traffic than on Strip, miss the silky sheets that usually are part of the comfy bedWestin provides, but pillows and comforters were cozy. No smoky corridors, and even casino area was not a haze of smoke. December 31, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Quiet, close to Strip, not crowded, average value.... I like this hotel (I've stayed here 7-8 times or more) because it's away from the crowds. When I pull up in my car, I don't have to wait for valet and likewise when I leave. The hotel is not that far away from the Strip - it's a quick 5 minute walk to the Flamingo. Rooms are quiet, clean and modern. Value is average, because at the moment some of the newer places on the Strip are cheaper, but I'm loyal to this place now. March 4, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Westin Las Vegas I was surprised at the fact that the room allocated to me on a points and pay reservation was so poorly located. It was on the 3rd floor and the window gave out to a fenced in roof line with no view whatsoever. This has never been the case before when I have stayed at any other SPG property. The food quality at the restaurant was poor at best... again I have never experienced this at a Westin. Very disappointed over all. August 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Too many problems The room itself was acceptable, though the carpet was clearly not vacuumed. The first problem we had was a nonfunctioning safe. A safe is necessasry, especially in Las Vegas. We had to use the safe deposit box which was time consuming. The other problem had to do with th keys not working. That took 40 min. of back and forth to fix. Not what I expect from a Westin, though we were given a $40 credit for our trouble. August 8, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location and service The room was comfortable and clean. The parking garage was very easy to get in and out of and I never had trouble finding an open spot. Walking distance to the strip so we didn't have to take the car on Las Vegas Blvd (very good thing). Staff was courteous and helpful. Went out to the pool at night. Very nice pool area, water was very nice and warm. Jacuzzi needed a slight cleaning, but it was acceptable. January 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Very Good Just Off the Strip Hotel This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Staying near the strip for non-strip prices. The location is walking distance to some key hotels. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the Starbucks in the hotel is a plus for me. A lot of air crew stay here, and I can see why because it's easy to get to the airport. The pool is nice, but it should have been bigger. Overall the hotel worked out great. June 5, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Business Trip - Personal Fun I was required to stay at this hotel for the business trip I was on - I couldn't have been happier. Excellent facility - that bed IS heavenly; all staff interactions superb - shout out to David, concierge desk, for his thorough and spot-on show recommendations, and Matt at the front desk for getting me into my room early and for the great welcome snacks. Having a Starbucks in the hotel = an extra bonus. October 19, 2012

They are ALWAYS so friendly & helpful it's truly a pleasure checking in at your hotel. I have also stayed here while not on a business trip & I still receive the same great service & feel welcome as a guest. I am always confident that I will be getting a nice, clean & comfortable room. Rated 5 out of 5 by Flight Attendant The staff at the Westin is very friendly and professional. They are always happy to answer your questions. The atmostphere is welcoming from the moment that you walk into the lobby. I really look forward to having the signature burger in the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and the curtains are very good at blocking the sun if you are hoping to sleep in after a fun night downstairs in the casino! May 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This converted hotel is not a true Westin yet This hotel has not met the Westin expectations yet. I'm not sure they are trying very hard either as they have been up and running for awhile now. I have stayed there a couple times now and it was not what I expect in a Westin either time. This time the sheets on the bed had what appeared to be a brown poo& stain on it upon check in. The comforter was very lumpy and clearly not a heavenly experience. July 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fine This hotel was fine, not fantastic just fine. It's Vegas so smoking in the casion kind of gets around a bit. 24 hour Starbucks was nice. In the room the TV remote didn't work which I found annoying but wasn't in my room much. Location is good, 10 min walk to Caesers/Ballagio so central strip. I stayed simply because it's an SPG property, if I didn't care about points I wouldn't choose to stay there. March 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 excellent vacation We stayed at this Westin for 5 nights. I specifically chose this hotel because of the location off the strip.if you don't mind the short walk in the sun it is perfect! We stayed with our kids ages 8 and 9, when we checked in they received welcome bags which they were super excited about. The employee who checksd us in was very welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in on the 11 floorwas great, we even got to check in 2 hours early. We had some very noisy neighbors for the last few nights but a call to security took care of it each time. Only complaint we had was that the pool was closed the first night for a private party. When we checked out I requested a credit for the amenity charge for that day since we pay it to have 24 hour access and they gladly removed it. We were overall impressed and felt like it was the perfect spot for our vegas vacation. We would definitely stay here again. July 27, 2013

My family & I stayed this past weekend & had a great stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Las Vegas Getaway Awesome! From the moment I stepped into the lobby I could tell this was going to be a relaxing experience. The Hotel smelled fresh, crisp and clean and that was throughout the facility! The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfy...The staff throughout the hotel was professional and happy to meet my needs....I've stayed everywhere in Vegas, but I have now found my favorite! Rated 3 out of 5 by Broken AC The property was having issues with the ACs, but to their credit, it was outrageously hot outdoors on the day of my stay. They were able to get it working a little better, but the room was mostly too hot for comfortable sleep. Given the late hour, I didn't request another room, although in hindsight I wish I had. They didn't volunteer one either, but perhaps that's not what I should expect. July 3, 2013
