Super helpful and courteous staff! Windows in room very dirty. Had a girl's basketball tournament players staying at the hotel, if I had know I would have cancelled my reservation!!

The signs to the fitness center and pool were extremely misleading and very confusing. And the food was not that good. I ordered room service twice, and was disappointed both times.

Great hotel. Great Staff. Tired Trim.
Please refresh hotel furniture/draperies. It's time to spend some money before it starts to feel shabby. Everything else was great.

Beautiful hotel in exceptional condition with wonderful location and views. Pools and facilities and food were all way above average and all the staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel exceeded my expectations. And staff were very friendly and helpful.the food at the cafe was delicious and plentiful. Im looking forward to stay at this hotel soon.

This hotel located on Lake Mead offers great family fun. However, check in was awful! We were told check in was at 4:00 and we were not able to get a room until 7:00.

Las Vegas was HOT this weekend. That being said, as we pulled up all the bellhops/valets seemed to disappear, the 2 inside were chatting and not in view of outside until they saw me pulling my cart up to registration as my husband parked the car; we chose the Green stay (so we could get 1000 SPG points) and the maid showed up the next morning so we weren't given the 1st voucher (which I had to ask 2x before getting); I asked 2 nights in a row to have the temp in the room lowered so I could sleep comfortably (our room faced west & with temps upwards of 112 daily - I just needed more air circulation/cooler) and the it only was lowered one degree after each request); on our last night as we returned, I requested some toilet paper b/c I forgot when we left - none ever arrived. We weren't in Vegas to celebrate the 4th, we were there b/c my husband's aunt passed away on Tuesday. I didn't think we were asking for much but it seemed like every time we needed to leave or return we had a request that just fell short. Just disappointing. The good things: 3rd night was $10 cheaper and we received a $20 deduction for some reason.

We had a great time. The hotel is gorgeous! The staff were friendly. The place is so quiet and peaceful! We were glad that we chose the westin resort for our trip.

The westin gives you no reason to leave the property. A variety of food, two pools, a beach, and plenty of recreation options make this resort the place to stay.

Hotel was almost 100% booked on arrival so my usual upgrade was delayed a day for our 5 nite stay. Maria, Jennifer, Ashleen, and Elric were most concerned and eager to ensure our satisfaction. Maria in Marrakesh Express is so pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my several "dessert visits" with her. Morena "tidied our room" well and unobtrusively. All staff encounters were positive. Rick's Cafe is fine though the service level tends to be slow. Not sure if kitchen cannot meet orders promptly or some other reason for delay in getting food. Valets were always attentive and helpful as were the bellmen. Concierge always seemed busy as she was on the phone or looking intently at her computer every time I passed or stopped at the desk. Limited information on immediate area from her. The ongoing changes in this recent Westin resort will eventually result in a smooth running operation one hopes. The staff enthusiasm and energy must be maintained as their energies complement the beauty of the resort and its grounds
Once the rooms have attained the total "Westin look" a stay here will be even more comfortable.
We look forward to future visits.

Very pretty resort. The spa was closed. The lake and beach was closed. Service was slow and not as friendly as most Westins. I don't recommend.

The hotel does not respond to the booked guest needs. This hotel was booked for a youth /family sports event on site for the entire Memorial Day holiday weekend. It chose to to close pools and outside food service early each day and provided no option to entertain or feed the many families on site. The outside lake was left accessible at night, with no lights, opened in complete darkness while the pool area and deck lights were shut down leaving 30 + families in the dark. All outside food service was closed. Families could be found inside in wating areas trying to feed children on couches as the only opened area with tables was restricted to over 21. No response was given from management altough multiple complaints were submitted. This was a holiday weekend? Do you try to drive people off property? Time after time trash was noted in public areas. On seven occasions I watched Westin staff walk past or step over trash while being much more engaged in talking with fellow staff. A wedding was held on Saturday evening. By noon on Sunday the yard remained litter with trash and empty bottles. I would strongly look at your property management, your staffs customer experience training. Your staff does not know the that quest are the only reason they are there. Your facility is great. The experience rates at the absolute bottom. Find out if any discussion ever took place to the type and quanitity of booked guests for this holiday weekend, and how the very best experience could be provided?
