The best hotel I have ever stayed in! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Room was very clean! The shower head and wand was amazing! Will be back very soon! If anyone rates this hotel with less then a five star they will never be happy staying anywhere.

I'm local to Savannah but had friends in town from Florida to celebrate my birthday and St. Patrick's Day. We stayed at the Westin on Friday and Saturday evening (Saturday was my actual bday). The best parts of the stay was being able to check-in early at 1:45 p.m. and get reservations for three massages that day at 3 p.m.
NO SHUTTLE SERVICE:
We were told at check-in that we can use the water ferry until midnight to get across to River Street and the Historic District and after midnight there would be a shuttle. We were given a piece of paper with this information as well. WARNING: there is no Westin shuttle. It is some random bus offered by the City of Savannah that may or may not pick you up on the corner of Fahm and Indian Streets by the Bay Street Post Office. Do not try calling your $300+/night hotel for help because you will only be told they aren't positive where the shuttle will pick you up and they take NO responsibility. No help whatsoever. We ended up calling for an Uber and paying $10. When we left there was at least 20 Westin guests still waiting for the so-called shuttle.
We decided to sleep in on Saturday and order room service before heading out for the day. When we returned later that evening, we noticed the trash bin had been removed from the bathroom, fresh soap and shampoos had been left, but the towels were not refreshed, the other trash bins were left untouched, and our beds were left untouched. We also went without coffee because the in-room coffee was not replenished and we were not about paying for more when we should have it available. They didn't even replace the bag for the ice bucket. Worst housekeeping I have ever experienced.
Although we all enjoyed our massages, someone my friend ended up getting charged for 2 massages on her card, while the other friend's card was never ran. We were able to figure out the mistake on our own, but taking an extra $150 from someone's bank account on their vacation is not ok. We can't figure out how the spa reception staff made this mistake, but I suggest always checking your receipts before you leave!
Needless to say, I did not enjoy the hotel on my birthday weekend and will think twice before booking another room at any Westin.

I thought I was getting a top of the line experience when my family decided to stay at this hotel. Yet we were treated with nothing but disrespect and given a dirty room. I was extremely disappointed. I attempted to retrieve my money for this stay and this hotel reversed the charges several times back to my credit card. Awful experience. I went to stay at a less costly hotel and received a better experience.

While in Atlanta for work, I decided to drive over to Savannah for a relaxing weekend. Spa was very refreshing and it was simple to get to River Street by the boat. Overall it was a fun and relaxing weekend.

Better off staying downtown and enjoying Savannah unless you are only coming for golf. You would think for a "resort" they would have better towels and toilet paper. The beds were also very HARD!

At 8:30 in the morning on the 14th floor housekeeping knocked on every door 3-4 times yelling housekeeping with every knock. So much for a good night sleep.
Dinner the night before was a round blob of bread that was suppose to be a crab cake, and calamari burnt to a crisp and all salt. And we waited two hours for this.
I had to park a mike away to get to hotel.
Service everywhere was so slow.

This hotel is one of the best in which I have ever stayed. The rooms is extremely comfortable and the River view is wonderful. The entire hotel is clean, modern, and meets all my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone spending time in the Savannah GA area.

Just curious. I understand there was a special " Free Golf " special you were running during January for guests. I stayed at the hotel all week, but the golf was rained out on Friday morning. Can I get a rain check?

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at The Westin. When we booked the hotel we informed them that we were coming for our anniversary. After returning from a night on River Street, we had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us in our room! The river view was beautiful from our balcony. Everyone was nice and friendly. Can't wait to return.

This hotel is probably the best option for Savannah conference attendees. It is also a well-managed property. The only downside is that it is difficult to get to the downtown since it is located in the middle of the river.

Spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day at Westin Savannah. The hotel was well decorated, front desk staff and concierge service was very good. Chose to stay in a high floor room with balcony facing the golf course and was lucky to get a view of golf and river. I had a good stay overall.

Communication and training of your F&B team needs to be addressed. The team’s understanding of the hours of operation, menu items and SPG Programs is much to be desired. The housekeepers need to be trained to the Westin standards; the refreshing of the room lacked attention to detail and the bed make up was really sloppy. Customer service was below average for a hotel of this stature. The ability to resolve issues in real time instead of addressing after the fact by a survey should be seriously considered.

Recently enjoyed two nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hotel gave us complimentary champagne/chocolate covered strawberries! Only problem was rowdy guests in adjoining room laughing/talking loudly between 11:30 pm and midnight-not the fault of the hotel. Staff are exceptional as is the resort as a whole.

The aweful smell of the river will creep into room early in the morning. The lack of additional items on room service menu was a disappointment as not many restaurants will deliver due to the location of the hotel. The overall room was nice and hotel bUT all the fees are exorbant.

The hotel is located across the river from old town Savannah which is easily accessible by a free ferry service. Our platinum upgrade was great - corner suite on a high floor facing the river however the platinum continental breakfast was poor (the only thing negative about the hotel). As Christmas was approaching, the hotel was beautifully decorated, both inside and out with many lights and decorations throughout.

I don't often have time to do these survey's but the quality of my stay and experience made me want to reach out to the Savannah property. Overall the quality was very good with the staff being very attentive, both at the hotel and the golf course. It was a very busy weekend with many Christmas activities but the service levels remained strong. My only criticism was the lack of people working at the hotel and golf resort on Thanksgiving day. I understand it is a holiday but we are paying full price so the levels of service should recognize that as well.

Stayed there for 2 nights and had a corporate event there. Staff was rude and food was awful. Also, I think the room needs some renovation. It started to show its age. That said, the staff at the pro shop was excellent and the golf course was in good condition. I also like the location of the hotel. I just wish the service was better.

I wish I had more time! My husband and I stopped in for a little less than 24 hours. We ate at Aqua Star and experienced great food and great service. We had drinks and chatted with the bartender in the lounge. Everyone was so nice! We spent a hour in the hot tub at night on the river. The cargo ships came through and it was like nothing we had seen up close. After a great night sleep we woke to Spa appointments. The ladies at the Heavenly Spa were great. We were pampered as soon as we walked in the door. We had a river view room (highly recommend) and watched dolphins play during the day. I was very sad when we left but grateful for the time we had! Can't wait to come back and have some extra time. You never have to leave the Westin but River St. is just a ferry ride away.

I loved the entire staff especially Mr. Alex and Ms.Simmons. they were very welcoming. I always enjoy going to other properties to see how i will be treated as an employee. i will say they did a GREAT job. the service was consistent. The entire staff made me feel welcomed.

I stayed at this hotel on 10/26/15 while traveling from NJ to Florida. I had stayed here before so it was my first choice. I booked 2 rooms for the night. I was disappointed with the kind of service I received from the time I checked in because the front desk individual wrote the price I was paying in front of the envelope holding all of the keys. As I was paying for both rooms I was not pleased to have the information given to my sisters who were occupying the second room. Then I noticed there was no bottled water in my room. After 4 hours and requests from guest services, a personal visit to the front desk and finally a request to speak with the night manager the water was brought up to my room. However, I was made to believe that it was my fault for having the Do Not Disturb sign on my door (had just set up the sign on door due to the time, almost midnight). The next morning I ordered 2 cappuccinos and a bagel but no sugar was brought up for the coffee. At this point I was not surprised that an additional request was not done correctly. I will have to say the sugar was brought up quickly unlike the water.
