after 12 hour flight from Europe we get unfortunately a noisy room (e.g. ranked Trucks outside).
Everything else was spotless.

Die Zimmer brauchen dringend ein Update. Alles ist abgeriffen, teilweise schmudlig.
Ich habe am Check-in ein Zimmer nicht beim Lift/Eismaschine gebeten - wie bereits auch bei der Buchung. Erstes Zimmer war genau beim Liftausgang und vor der Eismaschine

Typical Westin Room; as a spg Platinum Member I've been upgraded to club-floor (albeit to a very noisy room right next to the elevators and opposite of club lounge)
Very long line at checkin, had to wait more than 20 minutes
After 10pm you can't buy a bottle of water other than at the restaurant (very expensive): No vending, no shop
Breakfast in the restaurant did only offer a la carte, no buffet
Airport shuttle tends to be quite fully booked

Its my 3. Time here in this Hotel but this Time was a small Room Upgrade, nothing special, the Room is not clean. the Duty Manager is absolut unhelpfull. I dont know what i can do. Never again this Hotel in my life.

Das 3. mal hier und diesmal als Platinum nur ein Zimmer Upgrade bekommen in eines der wohl dreckigsten Zimmer die das Hotel bieten kann. Ein Telefonat mit dem Dutymanager brachte nichts.
Sowas kann und will ich nicht weiter empfehlen.
Vorsicht hier, das kann ganz schön schlimm werden. In der Umgebung gibt es bessere Hotels.

Westins are always good hotels. This one was clean, spacious, and comfortable. A major drawback was the poor "continental breakfast" which comprised of a single pastry and a container of fruit juice.

If you get the chance to stay at the Westin LAX you will have an excellent elegant experience. Reggie Woolridge (Dir of Ops) has assembled a team of hospitality experts. Tim McDonald (Service Express Mgr) goes out of his way to make sure you will have a memorable stay, Tim made sure and called me by my first name, Chris Lorino (GM) has a team of front desk clerks (Brian and Syndey) who made sure my check in was quick and easy. I also had the pleasure of tasting the delicious food Chef James prepared that night, OUTSTANDING 5 Stars!!!
Thank you Reggie for assembling a team of experts, I will tell all my colleagues and friends to stay at your hotel.
