Stayed 2 nights here. Hotel is quite old but this cannot be helped and is the same for most places in Kyoto. The location is away from the city centre, but still extremely good, a short taxi ride (JPY700 approx) from Gion or Kyoto station (JPY 1300). Shuttle bus service provided. Plenty to do even if you do not wish to venture out from the hotel - there are 2 or more walking trails, many shrines and temples to visit around the hotel, as well as art boutiques, quaint shops and dining places. Service is good, with many (not all) english speaking staff. Will choose Westin Kyoto for my next trip!

市の中心部から少し離れているだけ、静寂なのがよい。何処へ出るにもタクシー代も大した事はなかった。市内が一望できて満足でした。次回も利用したい。

1. The hotel upgrade my regular room to a suite during sakura blooming season. They don't need to do so since the hotel is fully booked. My family is so appreciate for this. from my room, there are so many sukura......... and we can hear bell from the temple......
2. the location is perfect. walking distance to several tour sight. the subway station is next to the hotel.
3. they also have concerge at JR Kyoto station. So, you can leave your luggages there, not the hotel. save time & money.
4. The only bad thing is the concerge in the hotel. The two ladies in the morning have little or no smiles on their face. They even gave us wrong suggestions twice which is so unprofessional. It should happened in Japan.

The hotel has great service. Especially for my disable daughter. The breakfast was so delicious, everything was from local, so fresh, super great taste, we couldn't forget it. The Japanese room was so good, we all enjoyed the Japanese style life.Location is very comfortable, good view. Hope can live over there for a long time.

Not only is the hotel conveniently placed near the subway and walking distance to many sites and shopping, but it also has a small park with a beautiful bird watching trail, which comes in useful every morning before breakfast, as a warm up for the day. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the breakfast generous. This was my fifth stay at the Westin Miyako.

いつも大変お世話になっております。南禅寺を見渡す素晴らしい景観が広がるラウンジも、また、静寂で快適な居室も居心地が良いです。それ以上にステイを満喫出来るのが、鉄板焼「くぬぎ」でしょうか。焼き手のシェフとの会話を楽しみながら、素材そのものの味を引き出す様々な工夫は、眼を見張るものがあります。ソースで誤魔化さず、牛肉そのものの味に焦点を当て、数種類の塩のみで頂くのは至福の時だと実感しました。ただ、当ホテルは、実はルームサーヴィスも美味だったりしますので、中華の「四川」にするか、お鍋「華頂」にするのか、はてまた鉄板焼「くぬぎ」にするのか、それともルームサーヴィスにするのか、予約を入れる際に迷う時もあります。

酒店完美地溶入了京都美丽的景色之中，宽大的客房非常舒适，细心的服务倍感亲切。去京都一定要住威斯汀哦。

我所入住的是位于佳水园的日式房间，房间布置得很传统，浴室设计的很有日式风味。酒店距离南禅寺很近。
十分推荐酒店后山的探鸟者道路，风景很棒。
