My wife & I spent a private weekend in the Exec Apt. tower in a spacious suite with lounge/kitchenette, a separate small workdesk room, & an enclosed (so with air conditioning) balcony with a table setting for relaxing (reading/enjoying a cuppa). Great friendly staff service from reception to lounge, doormen. Well fitted fitness room. Exec lounge offers wines, snacks & other bevs. & good breakfast.

Hotel is in a good location for business - especially with big companies located in downtown. It is quite near Petronas Towers and all that is nearby.
There are many places nearby to eat - from fancy to street food.
Hotel facilities are outstanding, with one of the nicest lounges of any Westin in Asia.

I have been staying at this hotel quite frequently in the last few months. However, the service on my last stay is very bad.
I waited 10 minutes before anyone served me at the cafe. I didn't know that my guest could not even get complimentary parking of MYR8 when visiting me for business. the front desk staff who attended to me was disdainful. I rented a room for a business meeting and was not told that a projector for rental would cost $600. I could have bought a projector for that price.
All in all , bad service. And I am considering not staying here adn will advise my company and corporate associates about this

I had the pleasure of being able to stay at Westin KL for 2 nights.
Check in - Check in was efficient and I am happy to be able to get a room at about 130pm which i am very grateful for. All guests love to get a room when they check in and to get a room immediately makes me feel valued. A valued guest is a happy guest.
The Room - Nothing outstanding in terms of room deco. Everything seems to be working which is important. There are sufficient towels in the washroom. Hotel is generous with shower essentials and drinking water. The bed is awesome !! This bed is what differentiated Westin and others.
The Pool - the pool and surroundings were nice. There is a also a pool table and table tennis table for guest use. The pool table seems slanted so all the balls were more to one side and the wind was quite strong since the table tennis table is placed outdoors. But it is fine since we are leisure guests though i hope they would be better equipped.
The Living Room - Westin KL had one of the best breakfast experience. Have this homely feeling while enjoying breakfast. The quality and taste of most items i had were up to standard. Tried their superFX food items. Efforts channeled into these range of feel-good food items paid off. They have quite an extensive range for selections using berries and super plants and they taste great as well.
Service - I cant fault their service. They were occasional laspes but they were not much to impact the whole level of service that westin Kl is striving for. Generally, the services rendered at all levels were good.
I would love to come back again when i am in the area. I like the theme about feeling good and leaving feeling better. I think Westin KL achieve that.

This is my second stay at The Westin KL and we returned to host a another event here as the service is second to none.
Especially worthy of mention are the banqueting staff, Zue in particular, whose proactive and attentive attitude made our experience an extremely positive one.

I have two nights in the club room on vacation. Bed is good especially comfortable room. Food was delicious, too kind is abundant. Are you going to be easy to go shopping, the Twin Towers are also within walking distance. In addition, it is the hotel that seems do you wish to stay.

From the moment I entered the hotel i felt special. The staff is very attentive. The rooms are great. The restaurant and lounge are first class. The hotel location is very convenient. I have stayed here a few times. It is always excellent.

Have spend significant amount of last few months in Westin. It is a very nice hotel with awesome staff. However three things may have room for improvement:
1. Quality of housekeeping
2. In-room dining menu
3. The wi-fi connection

Great front desk staff, and on my last visit one of your front desk manager (I assume she is a manager due to her seniority) went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Your "express service" staff was also great - polite, efficient and called me after I placed my room service order to ensure that the food has arrived and all is well. Made me feel right at home!
Only down side (and nothing to do with service): your basin taps are positioned too low/close to the basin which makes it hard to wash my hands, not to mention the (water) spray pattern results in splatters everywhere on the sink!

Room was average; not exciting as I thought it would be. There were creases in the pillows and the walls were run-down. It just didn't have that "wow" factor.
Service was ok; nothing out of the ordinary. Hotel didn't really go out of their way to make my stay great. I know I shouldn't be expecting this but I've stayed at numerous hotels around the vicinity who actually put in the extra effort or were very flexible in providing things like free short-term parking for guests, wi-fi, etc. I guess I expected Westin to have the same, if not more.
Well, besides the great location of the hotel, the only other worthy mention is the Yum Cha restaurant. My guests and I had a wonderful experience here - the service was perfect, food was excellent and the price was reasonable. If not for this restaurant, I don't think I would ever set foot in the Westin (KL) again.

Great service by a team of great staff! In particular, my wife is in a wheelchair, and we needed to just get across the road in front of the hotel to the Pavilion shopping center and the pavement/curbs in KL is a real challenge for us to navigate, to just get to a traffic crossing lights about 50m away. When we approached the Westin staff, they so excellently helped took care of my wife in her wheelchair, stopped the traffic in front of the hotel and wheeled her across the road safely to the shopping center, saving us from a challenging episode in our holiday stay in KL. Thank you !!

I enjoyed my stay at The Westin KL which is centrally located (right across from the Pavilion Mall), of course topped off with the fantastic Heavenly Bed. The bathroom is a slight disappointment as it is showing wear & tear. Overall it was a good experience.

I told the porter and doorman twice that I take Air Asia and that's another airport and have them told the taxi driver specifically, but at the end I was still taking to the wrong airport that cos me panic and risk of missing my flight since they are 20KM apart! If I get a taxi by myself I will be on high alert! but since I trust the hotel staff which not just one but two! I thought can let my guard down!
the other trivia include:
1. didn't ask my newspaper preference which other SPG hotel usually would especially Westin chain
2. there is welcome treats but the staffs are sloppy enough n forgot, until I chase
3. OK got the treats which are walnut and cashew nuts, but the walnut tasted like they are expired...

It's a nice western style hotel. The gym is really good, the staff is quite friendly. Somewhat difficult to find as I had just traveled 20 hours from NYC, and the only information from the website is that its right off the metro. I needed to ask several people as to where to go (and several did not know). The room was clean, and I had a nice view of the Petronas Tower.
But the one thing I don't understand is why WiFi is not complimentary? As I travel throughout Asia, I am finding more and more boutique hotels have free wifi, and the room/ amenities have been on par with that of SPG hotels, but with a lower price and internet service. I am getting more and more inclined to choose boutique hotels over SPG here in Asia.

All are good except request for late hours check out only granted till 2PM even staying there for a week. Compare to other same level hotel nearby this is pretty disappointed.

I enjoy staying at Starwood properties - but this was a disappointment. From the moment I arrived in the lobby and waited, and waited, and waited to check in. The room itself was OK - but the service was disappointing when you are in the lobby, waiting for a pre-booked car - or even trying to find the breakfast area. Also disappointed with the breakfast...the food stations were scattered across a very large floor space and it literally took 10 minutes to asesmble breakfast - and then another 5 to get some coffee.

Westin KL is one of our favourite Westin Hotels in Asia. The location is fantastic, the staff has a can do attitude and the restaurant - Five Senses served the best Peking Duck in Asia, bar none.
We love the breakfast at the Living Room. Its like walking into a Hawker Centre with daily changes of offering from the Indian, Malay and Chinese Noodle cuisine. The fresh fruit juice and the yoghurt selection were special touches. If there is a negative, it has to be the dearth of local tropical fruits like Papaya and Jackfruit, in favour of imported European fruits. Coming from Australia, we were looking forward to the tropical fruits.
We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children. The kids loved the pool and plentiful of pastries and pancakes for breakfast. The staff fussed over them.

It wasn't what I would expect from a Westin. It took forever to get hot water in the shower and when it finally came, it would fluctuate between really hot and warm. As for outside noise, I'm not sure what was going on outside, but it sounded like a construction crew. The beep beep beep of the reverse, etc. Hard to get a full night's sleep.

As mentioned in my feedback form left with the front-desk, the service given by staff and especially those at the executive club floor was very good. However, I was very disappointed with the level of cleanliness of the room upon check-in. This is despite one of your staff responding to my email to ensure that my upgraded room to the executive floor would be a good one. You can see the layer of dust on the table, lamp etc, in crevices of the cabinet which needs fixing (cabinet door was loose/slanted). This gives me the impression that customer's feedback/requests are not taken seriously at all, and that the rooms have not been inspected to meet the expectations required for a 5 star hotel. The heavenly bed did not meet expectations either as the thick pillows doesn't seem to fit well with the soft bed.

The room we stayed was not clean, and things are falling apart. The shower door does not have appropriate fitting so after shower the water would flood the whole bathroom. The staff response was not quick and sincere enough. No apology at time of check-out (I have a 4 night booking and decide to check-out early after 1 night).

When I arrived at Westin in KL, I was met with a huge crowd of guests checking in/out; even the SPG Gold counter had 3 guests.
While waiting in line, I was greeted by Puvan (Manager on Duty) and he offered to help me with my check in.
I was pleasantly surprised with the gesture and to top it all up, I was given an upgrade to a suite!
Puvan actually turned what could have been a bad experience with check in for me to a outstanding one.
What more can I say but THANKS Puvan!

- Friendly staff at front desk
- Clean room
- Very comfortable bed
- SPG Recognition
- Directions from car park to lobby misleading. Resulting in us using the staff elevator.
- No clear directions from front desk (place to verify parking ticket) to car park.
- No noise insulation in room, can clearly hear doors banging and people walking on hallway.
- Housekeeping staff to be aware of guest duration of stay and to improve on command of English.

The hotel was surrounded by the famous shopping mall. The Pavillion is just opposite the hotel which is very convenient. Down side is the street is famous with traffic jam. So if you travel here by car, be prepare to spend some time in the car. The Bukit Bintang Monorail station is 500m away. Would suggest to take the monorail if you want to avoid the traffic.
We have been upgraded to Suite Room obtain from SPG Platinum Member benefit.
