Rated 5 out of 5 by The Hotel & Staffwere amazing! I travel a lot for my job and have been in quite a few hotels - yours is tops! Everyone was kind & helpful with every question answered with a smile. Two special stand outs were my daily maid service (I'm sorry I can't remember her name - I was in room237) and Ilil at the service desk. I had many, many boxes from the Glow Convention and several suitcases. He took every thing down to my car & a friends truck for 3 trips and couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. Paul was fabulous also taking everything up for 3 trips. I enjoyed my stay very much! July 28, 2014

Check-in was fast and accommodating; the rooms were modern, fresh and very roomy and comfortable. And the hotels amenities, restaurant and facilities were awesome. August 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slow restaurant service Our service at the Harry Caray's/Holymackeral was very slow. From the time our order was taken until our food entree's were served was in excess of 45 minutes. This is not acceptable when on a time limited lunch break. Several customers who were seated well after our group had their orders taken in advance of our group. We were the very last group served in the entire restaurant. August 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Executive Club The Executive Club need some attention. The food was Ok at best. By the last hour there was very little to chose from, what was there was alomst gone. Limited drinks were available. The person attnding it did not know much about mixed drinks. I got flavored Vodka without knowing this prior to receiving the drink. It was a good thing that you didn't have a lemon to add to the water since it was almond vodka. This is just not up to the standards of the hotel. It appears that someone said that you needed a Executive Club, so you added a token one. ..... way below your standards & your competition. July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Great night Everything was so nice and modern. I was there just for one night, but I was so comfortable and enjoyed the amenities so much. I needed some items that i had forgot at home (shaving cream) and you were so helpful and at no extra charge!! I'll be staying next year for sure!! December 10, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Third world water pressure If you choose to stay here, prepare to enjoy the tiny trickle of water which won't even rinse your toothbrush. You get your choice of a scalding hot trickle, or, if you open the cold faucet a bit, it will switch over to a freezing cold trickle, with no choices in between. I have been in third world countries with better water pressure. Don't sign up for the option of declining room service to "save the planet," because they won't even empty your trash or restock your coffee. And if you plan to visit any of the conference rooms, bring a winter parka and earmuffs. Bottom line, you can do better than this place. July 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel needs a wake-up call The Westin Lombard is a fairly decent hotel property; however, the service is sub-par to any Westin I've ever patronized. From arrival, there was no bellman or valet person to assist my family upon entering the hotel. I had to self-park my car in valet. It was ridiculous all weekend long. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very polite and welcoming. Overall, the hotel, the rooms and my experience were average at best. I am very sorry to say that unless someone can step up their overall customer service platform, I will never stay at the Lombard Westin again. July 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Over all it was great Overall the hotel was great. I have a couple issues I wanted to bring up. The bed sheets had a blood stain on them (small stain about the size of a quarter). I checked the rest of the sheets and they were ok and I just slept on the other side of the bed. However, I expected that to be changed the next day and when I went to crawl into bed the next night, the sheets had not been changed and the stain was in exactly the same spot. Also, I had ironed the first night, the iron was not put away over my 3 night stay. Last, there was a complimentary bottle of water the first night and it was never replensihed. I can say that your front desk and lobby stay provided exceptional service! October 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for a Group This hotel is lovely and convenient for individuals or groups who want to be in the western suburbs of Chicago. The staff was friendly. The dead electric outlet in my bathroom was fixed immediately. The room was spacious. Restaurant and banquet hall meals were delicious. The room HVAC was great. Negatives were: hall carpet was not vacuumed once all week, there were no fridge or microwave in the room, (which is unusual these days, especially in good hotels), and the WiFi was very dodgy. Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes a Convention Great The Weston at Lombard, IL played host to our annual Golden Glow of Christmas Past. We had six hundred guest, plus hotel staff. I say it that was because from check-in to checkout the staff recognized us, gave us candy canes, were there for us on time, ready to help, and had discounts for us at the hotel restaurants . This was the best convention for us in 12 years, and the Westin played an important part in making it that way. Kudos to both office staff and on-the-floor staff. Would be glad to have another one there. July 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Don't stay here if you need joining rooms and a late check out I have stayed here several times because my daughters 4 day dance convention and competition is at this hotel. I always request connecting rooms but only received them once. We also need a late check out because the girls are not done until early afternoon. Their lunch break is after regular check out. This hotel would not offer a late check out. Even an hour would help. Also, the air conditioning in the hotel was up way to high. It was like an ice box in the hotel even with sweaters and pants. These are my needs that the hotel does not meet. You may have a different situation. July 21, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rooms were great. Overall my stay was great! I loved the large rooms and the view. The food in the Club lounge was quite marginal and my husband did not want to even go to have a "Continental Breakfast" in the mornings. I would stay here again. August 5, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Average, but over priced. I spent a week at this hotel for a convention and it cost $1,000 for the small room. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The banquet food was terrible and it never arrived hot. The hotel restaurants were very overpriced for average food. The attached parking garage was great with easy access. TIP: If you stay here, walk over to the nearby shopping mall to eat your meals. If you try eating the banquet food at the hotel, you will end up at the food court at the mall anyway to get something else. July 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel does not include several things needed for a long trip If you want a hotel with a microwave and fridge, the is not the hotel for you. We attended a dance convention and needed cold water for our dancers. With no fridge, this was almost impossible. They have a limited amount of refrigerators for extra cost. We reserved one but never got it!!!!! We also like the option of bringing our own baggage in and out. Carts were not available for families who prefer this. However, the rooms were clean and relatively quiet and the staff was nice. The discount rate for the event was reasonable. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. July 21, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Food and beverage We were put on the list for a refrig onSaturday and checked every day when we were the top name on the list still no refrig when other people were putting their name on the list each day and receiving getting a refrig. We never did receive one. The banquet food was poor. The only meal that was OK was the Wednesday night opening August 1, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff not as responsive as the image they would like to portray The room was nice but missing the advertised refrigerator. When asked where the refrigerators were, they gave some lame excuse. We had to BEG for clean glasses everyday. Never left when our room was cleaned. The sheets were not changed daily as told to us at the front desk. When I went to check out, there was no staff to be seen. However, they were on the spot to see that I had booked the wrong type of room for our group, so that was nice they caught that. July 27, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by needs improvement uninformed front desk; carpet stained hallways; slow service in restaurant; almost inedible food for banquet. This hotel is mediocre, at best. They installed a new business center while I was there, which staff could not explain. Horrible lighting; and in a noisy public location. Meanwhile, they eliminated the old business center, so hotel not suitable for business for almost a week. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by The place to stay in the West suburbs The hotel is in a great location easy access from the airports, Metra and downtown, with plenty of resaurants, stores and shopping. The shuttle will take you to and pick you up from the Metra station and nearby establishments. Each and every member of the staff is a pleasure to encounter. They remember your name, preferences and are always cheerful and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and have that Westin touch that I appreciate. The Starwood lounge on the top floor has a tasty offering in the mornings and a great evening meal. The in house restaurant is Harry Carey's and Holy Mackeral. Fabulous food in the restaurant and via room service. Olympic size pool, nice fitness room and even a parking ramp for those nasty weather days make this an awesome plance to stay. April 21, 2014
